well, it's not so difficult as you could imagine: 1) first of all go and buy some scratchcards in your local store 2) then check in your pocket if you have a coin 3) if the answer to the previous step is yes ...then start scratching 4) if the answer is no.... found a coin and go to step 3)

I don't know the answer but both are sure ways to lose money. When you say "what's got better odds" I'm curious as to if you mean which is less -ev or which has the best chances of winning. Cos in my view the more likely you are to win the less likely you are to make money.
Online scratch cards often promise 1 in 3 cards is a win but what this means is there are lots of small wins and you have to constantly win to finish in the black. With the house edge built in you're an idiot if you think you can. I believe real scratch cards offer fewer but larger prizes like a lottery so you can get lucky and get a decent cash prize. Still -ev but is much better if you're not a gambling addict.
Slot machines I found are very similar. No jackpots, just a bandit minus the excitement you get in a casino with only profits for the house.

This is a very simple probability calculation, but is best left to a mathematician of my calibre.
The odds of winning online slots is about 0/100 = 0% and the odds of winning scratchcards is about 0/100 = 0%.
However, the odds of winning at online blackjack - where the house edge is 99% and seemingly the dealer can only draw a 7 when on 14 - are (0/100)-100 = -100%
If you combine the probabilities of all three games and take away the number you first thought of, the resulting probability is that if you're playing online games of pure chance YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE. BIGTIME.
