If someone had given me those 9,7 millions, I would still have at least 6 millions of it 8 years later. The rest of the money would have been used to investments, like a nice house... and some properties..
that guy must feel awful right now, Im sorry for his family

and now the BBC want to make him some money, and id guess a book will be out soon...lets get this guy on TV, put him on BBC using my tax money to pay him tell us how much of a nob he is, thats what im paying for BBC. For crack heads to get thier fix, lets put him in some charity events and let the kids look up to such a cool guy.

I'm not so sorry for him: fortune knock at your door and you shut it on its face....then you are such an idiot.
You should think he was only 19 yo when it happened:
well, now when he says "If you give £9.7 million to a 19-year-old, what do you think is going to happen?" he is confirming everybody his lacking in intelligence

I'm sorry for other kind of people not these ones

PS: looking at his picture I have to admit I shouldn't say what I just said directly to him Big Smile Big Smile

I believe age has nothing to do with wether a person will blow out all his money or not. its simply a matter of character. No matter what your age or background is, if you have character, then you can take any big amount (or small for that matter) and make it work for you.

That's just my 2cents...

Fortune is wrong because is blind. Had I this luck instead of him, I would own BRM now ( Admin included Blink ). It's a bit sad story.
