He's not aiming at 2nd, he aims at a bracelet, he will surprise us again for sure, maybe on next event, maybe next year. Anyway, even the 1st one on WSOP event will be forgotten, can you name the champion of 1,5K nl hold'em last year? If yes, what about 2 years ago? Think my point is proved. Both 1st and 2nd will be forgotten, the difference is that one got more cash and a bracelet, which doesnt change anything to Dwan. Prestige and fame is given to WSOP main event champions, so even if he got that bracelet in the 1,5k people would say (probably you, sry if Im wrong): "pffff not a big deal he didnt get it at the main event where the pros are playing"

I doubt it, they're a bunch of jealous wankers. They'll use this actually as vindication that Dwan "Isn't good enough" to win a bracelet. Even though they know inside themselves, that he's pretty much just proved he is.
