I was just wondering if any members here have ever won in a badbeat jackpoy. I know they have them at Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker. I play them once in awhile but havent been fortunate enough to be at the right table as of yet.

Hey Jack, unfortunately I have not had a badbeat in a jackpot table just yet! I hear that the prizes are of incredible amounts, and keep on increasing as time goes by and players contribute. I don´t know about all the poker rooms, but for many, the badbeat jackpot can only be won if there at least three active players in a jackpot table. Some of the sites consider a bad beat, losing with 4444 or higher, some other sites only consider it, with minimum of KKKK.

they have a bad beat jackpot on ultimate bet.. at the moment its over 330k.. can you imagine winning that much for losing lol . Quad 8's or better you need to lose with and the player who wins has to come from behind in the hand ... not so easy yet it has hit a lot of times since it started.
las two weeks, a guy wins 100000$ in partypoker, for loose with his str8 flush A2345, againts str8 flush 34567... very nice, i play a little in the badbet jackpot tables, it will be very nice winning that money

I think the one on Absolute Poker pays everyone at the table. Im not sure though. But i didnt know that you had to be behind and then make a comeback, that could put a damper on things.

yeah on UB if your on the same stakes at which the jackpot hits at then you get a percentage too you dont even need to be in the hand or at the table just the same stakes say 25/50 nl for example. Obviously if your on the table or inviolved in the hand then you get more

I have witnessed a table that hit the bad beat jackpot on party poker, I had a penpal who I would play poker with and was watching him on 7 other tables and at one of his tables someone at the table hit the jackpot. IT was at around 100k or so I believe at a $0.50 / $1.00 limit holdem I think
