I tried a couple of Rush tourneys just now, but that is some crazy s**t!
More like a lottery IMO.

The ring games are fun, but my BR (and time) on FT won't get me silver. Sad
Been playing on Party mostly.
Good luck though for the silver points to you guys. Blink

Completed silver today easily. Was much much easier than I thought and I think I can make a good profit playing rush anyway. Gold though will be impossible.

I also played my first rush tourney today and I have to agree with IslandJack. Absolute crazy horse s**t. I played a few $4.40 sngs and a few of the gtd and I crashed and burned early in all of them. Maybe I'm not used to them and I need to adapt my play but they seem like turbo rebuys only it's impossible to read the table and everyone seems to be hitting hands. Not likely to get a seat at that freeroll at this rate.

Just tryd it the outher way
NL25 x2, still took an hour but id rather play 2 than 4.
Also, it could be lag but it seams to me that the x2 does not count.

was able to get 100 points on the first day but made me concentrate too much on earning points there i lost some bankroll and wont able to sustain it so ill just play for the 10 points for 7 days. Smile

Iv been doing ok myself, $25 mark today.
Today was very swingy, at 1 stage I was sat with $6 an $12 but after a bit of aggresion left with $62 and $35....1 hand that almost tilted me, sat in late with AA mid raises to $1.50 I re-raise to $4 he calls, flop came out 5 10 6 (dont remeber suits but no flush draw on) he bets $4 I put him all in and he calls showing 10 2, turn comes 2 dont rember the river, sick play. Aww crap! Aww crap!

I finally cashed in a full tilt tourney and I made the final table. Looks like I'm finally getting the hang of it. But I don't think I'll play them after this week is over. Just too swingy I think.

Next week sarting monday they are doing a "take 2" style promo.

Bronze (10 Points):
4 of 7 days = $5
7 of 7 days = $10

Silver (100 Points):
4 of 7 days = $25
7 of 7 days = $50

Gold (1,000 Points):
4 of 7 days = $125
7 of 7 days = $250

A very nice and fairly easy $50 at low stakes, above nl25 an easy $250.
GL all.

YEAP great promo as always easy money

Yep!
I´m getting that today as well. Sad
Lost some cash, lost a $10+1 tournament.
going to avoid FT for the rest of the day before I go broke.
A lot of crazy stuff today and, like you say, the worst/best days are coming up.... Confused
The game can be cruel indeed.

Just cleared the 4 days bronze bonus, forgot about the bonus and don't have a lot of time these days, so just played for 4 days 10 points. Made profit at the rushtables, and 5 dollar bonus, not a lot but better then nothing.
Could have played for silver 4 days, but if you play rush too long it kills your game, that's what my experience says.
Also super supertight there is the key, today had AK suited on the button, guy raises, I reraise and he pushed all in. At these limits it's possible it's even money, that I have him dominated or it's split pot. But also some sharks there( he had only little over half buy-in but can be because of bad beat).
So decided to lay it down, as AK at rush is dangerous with this preflop action.
Managed to go home with a 110 percent profit at less then an hour, and cleared my last day, so I'm happy Big Smile

What limit are you playing?

I'm at 10NL, I've tried 25, but the swings were... a bit too big for me.

Thanks for the answer. I wasn't even dreaming of anyone playing two rush tables. Didn't think there was any need for it, as the speed is fast enough anyway, but, there you go. Smile
