I know people tend to group the two levels together but I was curious about specific differences between the two heads up. I've been doing pretty well at 50NL and am ready to move up and would value input from anybody that has made this jump after crushing 50NL heads up. Thanks in advance.

In my experience in 6-max, there's a lot more nits in nl50. More creative plays in nl100. The two levels are fairly similar though.
Haven't played so much HU. However I find HU nl50 is considerably easier, once again, you just get more nitty plays (not the HU regs though). But if you find a casual HU player, trying to get a quickly double up and more used to short-hand or full-ring tables they lack the aggression needed in HU. In my experience, there's more of these plays at nl50. Tends to be at nl100 and up most players are pretty aggressive.
