How to play AJo  0
Hey guys,

I seriously lose the most money with AJo, it seems that this hand is way overrated by me.

Would you consider folding it Out Of Position to a raise of a tag or even overall just fold if someone raised before you especially if Out Of Position?

i the 70% of the times do the same thing....FOLD
AJ, and offsuit, for me, is cr4p

In tournament or sit&Go turbo(what I like to play most) If I get a10 aj aq out of position I fold. if its suited I limp.

When I'm in late position If no one raise I raise.
If someone raise I would prob call, or reraise if I have some notes for the guy.

particulary I dont like those hands, when the blinds are low. I prefer using those hands for pushs.

I dont know if u guys understand what I said hehe.. sry for poor english.

Ive probally seen this hand way to many times. Angry

and I lose with it way to many times, everytime i hit a Ace im always scared some one has that AQ or AK.

Ive also had a lot of situations where as I have AJ flop comes AJ10 and some jerk has the KQ.

I honestly donno how to play this. I lose more with this hand

Yeah JA is a overrated hand. It looks like a monster but ur kicker is pretty low..

Yeah for me AJ off suited is not a great hand either. It really depends on my position and how many bets have been made already and the size of the bets as to my decision on my play for that hand.

Yeah i like AJ only when i pair just my jack or when i two pair my AJ and there is no straight out there, so not all that often, in late position i will fold to a 4 x bb bet, limp along with other limpers or raise if it has been folded, under the gun and UTG +1 or 2 i play just on how the table has been playing, at low limits if im short ish stacked i will play it because of how often i see Ace rag being played, so i dont mind puttin gmy stack on the line when i feel 70 percent of the time im ahead.

AJ is far better in tourneys once those blinds start getting bigger and people are pushing with any ace or low pocket pairs, you can often reraise and resteal, but when they call your almost never the favourite

Depends on the table=))
For example if you're playing a freeroll AJ0 is monsterhand because people goes all in with A8.
But on a cash table you should play it carefull...anyway i dont think you should fold it pre-flop if someone push 4BB you better call and see the flop before folding it

I definately like ace jack better when I pair the jack. But a paired ace with jack kicker is not always so good. Its one of those hands that has great potential after seeing the flop same as AK but not an all in preflop hand.

what flop do you want to see though if someone in early position raises, i feel its impossible to know if your ahead or behind. say they are raising QQ and you do flop your ace then what, if they continuation bet then i fold because i dont like to risk my whole stack on my J kicker. if they are on AK they raise and then continuation bet exactly the same, by folding i never lose my whole stack and i also dont lose those 4 bb folding to any continuation bet even when i actually hit.

AJo is different or the same????(I'm not good in english poker)
The same can give you a flush or flush-draw on the flop and his QQ with a Q on the flop gives you a perfect opportunity to take his money.
If they are different you can get two pairs on the flop the only danger your opponents straight...but you also can cach a straight on the flop.
Poker is a risky game mate

AJ offsuit,
i pass only with AJo in a cash game.. but if i play a freerol i limp in mostly
becouse if there falls a Jack on the flop you have the biggest kicker...
