Just wondering what everyone is working with.
I just bought a 22 inch screen yesterday. Been playing on a 15.6 inch laptop for ages, and it never felt good or comfortable. Funny thing, this screen is from Medion, and WAY larger than other 22 inch monitors. That`s why I bought it. Looks like a 25 inch, and way larger than the other screens in shops at 22. HUGE! Will measure and report back.
But what I noticed already, playing multible tables is a blast! I could never play more than 2 tables decently, they were already very small, and had to overlap, never saw what was going on peripherally on the others, so I screwed up when I tried it, every time.
NOW......wow! No prob multi! Love it!
This is going to make a difference, NO DOUBT at all! You can just move tables around, play a serious tourney, and some small Sng`s on the side, I can`t believe what a difference this makes.
Just wondering what you guys are using and your thoughts. Let me know.

Oh yeh - a new screen is a great & affordable way of increasing your computing (poker playing) pleasure.
The only other thing I can recommend here - that is even more of a whole new world to the virgins - is DUAL SCREEN
SERIOUS - I promise you do this you'll never look back. Just imagine - an MTT from one site on one screen 6 tables of fullring cash on another site on the other..
Or Bankrollmob forum on one - poker on the other..
Seriously - I couldn't imagine having only one screen. DUAL Screen is a a LOT more than the sum of it's parts.
It's beyond words. DO IT.
edit: one more dual screen benefit:media - early stages of an MTT on one screen (fold fold boring) American Dad on the other.. Or if you dont like to watch video and play poker - then you're mp3 player on the other screen - so you can navigate play list etc without having to minimize poker..

I have the same problem with my 15.6 inch laptop. I can't play multitable. When I sat to my old desktop(which has a larger screen) before a month to play I saw great difference in multitable but I don't like to use it because is very old and slow. IslandJack can you tell me which laptop you buy or other members to recommend a good laptop with large screen?

HAHA!! Man, all the great poker minds of the universe (I mean you and me of course ) think in a similar way!! Just yesterday I bought a really slick new Toshiba laptop that had caught my eye for a long time, which has a 15.6'' screen... I was playing poker till now on my netbook which has only a 10.1'' screen and although I never had problems (I rarely multitable), I always thought that poker tables will show better on a larger and crystal clear monitor... So now I'm playing on a 15.6 inch top notch one, and it seems way too cool (although I guess it's old school for many of you)... ok, maybe in a couple of months I get used to it and stop being impressed, but for the moment it rocks!... So what's next? 3D monitors with glasses? Hmm, not bad if you sit on a table with Lacey Jones avatars and be able to concentrate on the game...

Well I'm ok with my 10' netbook . Playing multiple tables makes it harder, but since I don't ussually do it I'm ok with her (my net). I will change it for a 14' notebook soon.

I got a big ass screen a while back, best investment ever, but do like the idea of duel screen, now if i run 4 tables iv extra creen to either open anouther 2 or fetch stats etc. I have my old screen and could set it up as a 2nd but its bulky so might get a 2nd slim oneafter x-mas.

in moment i got only two 17´s monitors but next week i buy a 24-26 monitor. And i think about it to buy a secound grafic card then i can use 4 monitors. It´s not only for poker i´m beginning to produce music visuals(not commerical only privat partys) and thats sucks on a 17 screen. When i buy a secound card that must look nice to see 3-4 tables in fullscreen.

I had an 'accident' with one of my LCD's and as such I have an LCD + CRT (big bulky) and I tell you - it's still worth it.. Atho two nice slim LCDs is/was better.

You got it! Now I can Multi-table my Bankroll right down to nothing in no time at all...and I won`t even be sure how it happened with all these hands flashing around my screen.
Luckily, I also got a new PC the next day, which has been crashing regularly every 15 min., so I haven`t been able to play or even visit here until now.
I jus hooked up my laptop again until I can make it to the shop....

Damn dude that sucks (Thumbs Down) *Stupid smilies @ bottom not working for me!* I usually multi table because i get bored with just one table haha ;D. What usually ends up happening though is that i start doing awesome on one side then i tilt on the other one and i end up even lol... And to the original posters questions i have a 21 Inch LCD monitor and its just perfect ;D.
