is this just temporarily, does that happen often or is it just my problem and you guys can connect just fine to their site?

how do you know that?

I work for an internet service provider. That fact that he CAN browse there using a web-proxy service indicates that BBP are quite possibly blocking his IP/range.

OP: Are you under a NAT address ? Like, where everyone at your ISP shares an IP address? Possibly they've blocked the entire NAT range..

I'd contact BBP and give them your IP and see what the deal is.

i think it must be a firefox thing because
- firefox, wont work
- firefox with web proxy works just fine
- chrome works without web proxy

but since i have normal settings for firefox and like i told you no trouble with any other site so far, I am still clueless what is going wrong.

and im not sharing this pc or internet connection with anyone, just a normal DSL-flat for home

In firefox, go to LAN setings/proxy settings and assuming you don't use a proxy server (ISP one, not the web-based), make sure there's no ticks against "automatically detect settings" or anything else in that page, as this can cause those sorts of problems.

Hi,

Currently we are not experiencing any problems with our website or client.

Have you tried using Internet Explorer? What I can suggest you is to have Internet Explorer as default and then try to access the website via your Firefox.

Let me know if you still have problems accessing the site.

Cheers,

Melanie

client isnt the problem, the website is, at least with firefox. Which still doesnt make any sense to me, because everything else works just fine for me. I can browse your website with google chrome or web proxy, so i guess im fine now.

@ jessthehuman

i have FF settings not on auto detect, it is on "NO Proxy"
