Since I cant post this in the news forum, I put in here.
I have read all the latest news now and I miss the option to rate those articles like you can do with normal postings. I am sure it would be a big improvement if you could rate those as well. Some of them are really great and others not so much.
For example, nobody gives me back that time i used to read the article about Negreanu's "Top 5 Young Poker Pros of the Future" list. I posted my comment their some days ago already so i wont repeat it in here.
Rating articles is a good feature i think, you guys get a good feedback and we can choose before we read something with maybe only bad ratings.
I´ll add a poll, not because im the new guy who needs his own poll, but i think here a poll is needed.
I think it could interesting but maybe not so useful because you already have chance to wrte what yuo want about them, rating included. Then you don't know how much angry becomes our Admin when reads bad ratings

i do agree that some of news are a bit boring but other people might find that news interesting. secondly not many people use the rating system for posts, and some news is better than no news

I would like to rate them on the quality of the article written, as well as the quality of the content.
For example, a recent article regarding a poker player on trial for murder, basically states that he did it, even though he is clearly only charged with it and is currently considered innocent until proven otherwise. If this was actual journalism, there'd be big trouble over that sort of thing, you called be sued for libel.
Personally, I thought the content was vaguely interesting, in a standard morbid-news kind of way. But I think if people are going to write news articles, they should be more careful with their language.
