I was playing the 20K guaranteed on PS yesterday...I was in mid position holding AA, blinds at 100/200 and had pretty decent players at my table.UTG+1 and UTG+2 limp ...next guy raises 4xBB to 800. I had about 5200 chips. The guy who raised was sitting at my table for just about 3 hands, so didn't have info on him...so I was thinking for the best play..If I would flat call, the first too limpers would most probably call to, if I raised I would have to make it about 2K, and then to shove on any flop, regardless of the action before me...or I could just shove there in 26BB. When I decided to push (taking into account the guy who raised had like 2.5x more chips than me)...they folded my aces I don't know how that happens, I was like wtf...because my timebank was full (90 seconds) and at PS, as you know, it goes automatically in the timebank...but instead, after 14 seconds normal thinking time, they fold my hand and sitout me... Also to mention that my connection was at 100% and didn't have any problems with it.. I was thinking of writing to PS about this, as I have already requested the hand history for the tourney and could show them what the f*** happened I'm thinking...if I doubled with AA there, I wouldn't get short stacked about half an hour later and had to shove with KK in 10BB from the SB, and then I wouldn't get called by the BB who had A8 and crush my kings lol
What do you guys think...should I write them or not, and what shoult I say to them Could I get any compensation for this ?

still thinking what to do with A,A after 14 seconds he he he ..... maybe its a program code for anyone who takes that long to decided what to do with the best pre flop starting hand available ... fold them for taking too long as punishment

i would agree, lol
blinds, 2 limps and a raise and early in the tourney with kind of smaller stack. Perfect spot for AA Just shove it instantly all in and dont try to be extra clever by using time bank.
how did this hand end? Was there a showdown, would you have won?

ask the support!!! there lots of complaints against ps lately,,, yours is 1 big example... i think they should address this right away, otherwise; there will be more complaints comong..

I took this long because I was playing a hand in another tourney and chatting with a friend...14 seconds is not THAT long anyway..the thing is..I really don't know if I would've won the hand.Or if I would've gotten a call if I shoved..but that is not the point.because I would've shoved. The flop was 2h 4s 5s ...first limper checked, second checked..the raised cbet 1/3 pot...first limper folds, second limper calls. Then Qs comes....check, and the preflop raiser goes allin overbet..smth like..the pot was 3K and he went allin for 4.5K and the other guy folds..I guess the raised could've had AQ or QQ, maybe KK ? But a flush was highly unlikely...only hand that would've beaten me was QQ...so I don't know for sure that I would've won the hand..Oh well...I'll send them an e-mail later..right now I'll go out for a little.

Tomboogy pal, have this in mind: It seems to me the action of PS folding your hand BEFORE going into the TIME BANK emerged from the fact that you had ANOTHER window active at that point. If you had this PS table active, it would normally go into 90 secs of time bank.
It's happened to me many times, even when I'm looking at the previous hands on the Hand Replay window, I've got to CLICK MY TABLE WINDOW once to show the program that I'M THERE and not away, so it keeps counting downwards my 90 secs. It's just the way the software works. Try it again and you'll see, at least that's what I'm doing in cases like this
EimsbushKing i must agree with you. it dosn`t always start auto. therefor any complains will not be accepted in this matter writing PS hase no point at all.

Try writing to them anyway. This is the worst case scenario, something that irritates a player beyond imagination, connection problems or some other involuntary fold or call. This and losing against7-2 offsuit.

thats not fun, for me sometimes the client frezees and i automatically been sitting out on another site, even if my connection is very good. lucckili i have not lost much money on this problem but it is not fun.

EimsbushKing, I'll enter some low buy in tourney just to check what you said...You may be right but I'm not sure of it right now, because of the following: I was late in a tourney, we were only 60 out of 7500 people, and when the break came, I ran to the store to get some cigars lol the store being right across the street. What happened is...I got back almost in time..I mean like...it was the first hand after the break that was dealt...I was in mid position and didn't have any other tables opened, this table being selected. So...it was the first hand and when I got to my PC, the timebank was counting away the last seconds and then it folded my hand... That is why It appeared strange to me that it didn't automatically start my timebank...oh well...I'll right to PS anyway..just to be clear
Oh....now I re-read your post...when I had AA there weren't any antes (blinds 100/200)...but at the other tourney there were.. damn..

Happened to me couple days ago, was card dead for nearly 2 hours in a MTT and when the break came I got back a moment to late, just in time to see AA get auto-folded.. Makes you want to cry.

That's kinda funny. LOL. I know it wasn't funny at the time for you. I had to go to the bathroom a few weeks back, and when I returned from sitting out, I sat down to AA---by the time I click sit in---it folded. LOL That sucked. Similar to your story. This has happened to me a couple of times. If I got to go to the bathroom I go, I don't wait if break is to far out.

I didn't send any e-mail after all...but I realized that it was my fault....so no harm done anyway...oh well...at least now I know. Everybody else stop complaining. And @Andzins99: there are indeed winning players here at BRM..just because you are at the beginning it diesn't mean others don't do welll in poker.

Just a bad player I guess....cause I have made more money playing online then I have ever deposited,on any and all sites
