Periodically I use to analyze my game trying to improve my game or get conclusions. And, i've got a very impressive data: the worst day (with a big difference) to play poker is Saturday! Why? I don't know. Theorically more fishes, more beginners, more players ....

It depends. When you're looking for some action then Saturday is the best. But it can be tricky: if you're not handling bad beats well you can easily get on tilt. Saturday is the day when you can make the biggest profit or the biggest loss.
But I think it's like an urban myth that there are many fish during the weekend. Every regular player knows that there should be plenty of fish on weekend and that's why Saturdays are full of regulars .

good question .... you would think there would be no difference but i found weekends tougher ... during the week when i dont have the most time to play i look forward to the weekend and then the weekend come and i loose .... I think more bad players at weekend getting lucky making it a tougher time to win

Lately I have almost only been playing weekends, and I have been doing quite well. I am probably that drunk fish you are talking about, that gets lucky.
But, I do actually belive that I play pretty good after a few beers. I get some sort of peaceful feeling. I am way more patient than at other times, and the bad beats don't bother me. I just listen to music, wait, wait, and then double up. Almost always getting my money in with the best hand.
That is, until I get too drunk and think I might be Tom Dwan. I almost never am.

Monday is worst. All the weekend players are gone and only the hardcore are left. I am physically tired from a weekend of acitivities and not playing at my best. Not a great combination!

i think saturday the most players play poker so there are many dumb players who play against u and they easy win becouse the deal was lucky for the m also the friday at the end of the day also was the most dumb player show day

I dont mind playing on saturdays over here in the uk, especially sat night / early sunday morning when you have the drunken us of a guys splashing money around. I find that the games do seem a little softer during the weekend, more fishies etc,but not hugely.. Can also work against you like people say, getting lucky against you etc. very interesting topic though :]]]

lol ... Nope, I don't drink, sorry Yes, it's just curious because I thought weekends were for go fishing fishes and drunks but, otherwise, the fish I am! By the way, my EV in Saturdays is always positive! Conclusion: always the fishes and drunks are lucky!
Voted Saturday maybe because too many players attend poker rooms and too many fishes don't help you to play well: too many bad calls, bets, badbeats. Better to relax himself

2day is the worst day for poker, lost AA twice in a row Played it perfectly in my opinion, small raise to look weak, get reraised and then ship the baby. He shows QQ and hits four card flush after I flop my set of AA Then next hand at a cash table AA vs 1010 and ofcourse he turns the full house FML

Hi,for me last month every day was worst,but yesterday I was in that state of mind that I was playing bingo at the end and in bingo lost 20 $ and not one winn,from 150-200$ lose
.
Then next hand at a cash table AA vs 1010 and ofcourse he turns the full house
