well roi is return on investment,...

so if you play 1$ game a 100 times en you made a 110$ for example, then you re roi is 10%

thats what i know so far about it ,-.

So maybe 10% after for example 2000 SnG's can be taken as a good ROI - At least for me Smile

How many SnG's did you play?

yeah that would be good i gues,... that why i started this tread, so maybe some people really know what is a good roi for low stakes sng s, because i surfed the interned but most of the forums about roi on sng s is higher stakes,...

if you check out sharkscope that gives you all that information on any player,, however as I do not play on stars the site may not be included in thge sharkscope database , most are though

Spring, I'm not sure things are exactly as you believe: in ROI entry fees are calculated so it's a bit more complicated. But maybe I'm wrong; anyway there are many sites on net to have this information regarding you and players which results you want to know Smile

Honestly, any postive ROI (even %) puts you ahead of a vast majority of the field..

ROI isn't nearly as important as hourly anyway.

Your hourly is literally what you poker profits work out to each hour.. this is generally increased by learning to play more tables at once.. Upping your hourly often drops your ROI -since you're not playing as well on each table.. but the idea is, winning on more tables out-weighs this.. You obviously need to find a balance..

But above all - if you're winning - at all - you're doing well Blink

well i have now a 32,45% roi on 223 sessions of 1,75$ 18-man turbo, i know what ive red in the forums that that is high, en probebly will go down, but i am fighting for every game ,-.

en i play not more then 3 tabels at once i am only playing poker for 4 months so still learning alot

so i gues my roi untill now is ok???

18mans turbo low limit, 30%+ is good, but sample size is far too low, ur true roi comes out after someting like 2K/3K games. But still good start, they very easy, TAG is the way to start then shove or fold when blinds getting high.

springplank: I think it is really ok, try to keep it up and dont tilt when some downswing comes and your roi will go down a bit Smile GL

hey the best way to look at this is less than 10% of online players are winning players so any pos roi u have is better than 90% of other players so thats is the way u should look at it

in my point of view, a good ROI depends a lot on the stakes you are playing.

thats not the same plaing micro stakes sng, that Highstakes sng, also the format, field, velocity of blind increments, are things that can change you ROI a lot. you maybe can had an >10% ROI over 2K sng on the 180 players, but foe example at the hyperturbo STT it would be hard to mantain an >2% ROI over 2K SNG

to know what would be the good ROI for your stake/format you should take a look at the sharkscope leaderboards and filter it for a stake and format, look at top winners ROI, take a sample of the top players roi, and get the average roi over the top winners, that will be the best way to know what a good roi is Smile

hey tx all for the answers, very helpfull, en indeed i checked on sharkscope, en if you can keep a roi of 10% over 1k games you re a good player, the best where on max 22% roi so....
