From the paytable:
Vote in polls November 2010: After analyzing data it has become obvious that too many users were voting only to earn MobPoints, which is why we decided to no longer pay MobPoints for voting in polls.

Bad decision, in my humble opinion. There was a time when poll votes were paid with 10 mobpoints. Stupid polls started appearing and mob decided to reduced to 2 mob points. It was drastical, but effective and stupid polls stopped. Without mobpoints there is no interest to vote. 2 mob points is almost nothing, but enough to give your opinion. With the same principle, there are too many users who are posting only to earn points. Will you stop giving mob points for posting someday? Sorry I've been rude or too much direct, but my English level doesn't allow me to be more polite.

Yes, that's entirely possible (though unlikely, the way I see it). But right now, it's rare that we see somebody (obviously) posting crap just to get points (and then we take care of it). With polls, we would see people open up a bunch of polls, wait out the delay needed and then just hit a random answer in the poll only to get those two points.
If you don't want to vote because of being part of the community as the only reason, then that's okay - nobody is forcing you to spend that extra left click on your mouse

I think I haven't said that I'm not going to vote anymore ... I have never thought in mob points and I won't do it now. What I tried to say is that polls has been devalued. But, I respect your decision ... you are the boss.

They have been devalued for those who voted only to get the points. For everybody else, the value has increased since we are likely to see more REAL answers instead of just random answers from people wanting the polls
