Well just as PS try and catch up with FT by adding "home games" FT go and bring out "multi-entry-tournaments" Fairly simple idea, but genius IMO, in short you can enter a tourn as many times as possable at the same time and multi table the same event, in the case of hitting a final table ETC and still have 2 or more live entry then they will be merged in to one...obviously just like RUSH you will always be seated at a diffrent table to yourself..

Sounds like a pretty simple idea really and I'm surprised it hasn't been done before. I don't think I'm likely to multi-entry the same tourney myself but I could see why it would appeal to some. In fact if I was the kind of player who rebought instantly at the start of tourneys I'd rather split my stack and play the game twice, especially since all my chips would come together at the final table.
My only problem is that I'm not so keen on my opponents doing it. It means that you may have to knock the idiot player out more than once which I already hate in rebuys. Not that I don't like donks but the more they rebuy the harder it gets to dodge those bad beats.
Also it will lower the value of the gtd tourneys since there will be more buy-ins when the prize pool has a lot of added money.

I dont like this. All stuff like this ruin poker. This is invented so room could take more rake and to give chance to donkeys to get to the final table... We will see on this kind of tournaments lot of all ins with sooted 23, 27, 79, 29... and that is bad for game...

I actually dont like the idea myself, that said im sure I will play one, I dont even like deep stack, unless on some slow ass site were its not really deep stack as you might have a x2 stack but play half the hands in the same time, so IMO kinda cancles it out. I think id of liked it, or not liked it less if they limited to 4 BIs, think it will be a donk fest. Think it could have been made more intresting if it was a freezeout and you could move chips yourself, but ony once per BI.

It is a bit like a different version of a rebuy tourney. Allows it for all players to keep up with those shady players, who play with different accounts anyway.
Humm ... I don't like at all. Again, more advantage to players with lots of money. It's just for that reason that I hate rebuy tournaments. Sites usually think only in themselves, not in their customers: rush is a way to make money faster and multi-entry is a way to cheat you. Not fair and essence of poker is losing with that kind of tournaments.

Not exactly the same as using two accounts. With multi-entry you can't be sat on the same table twice so this doesn't give players the advantage of collusion.
This isn't really any different from playing two tourneys at once except the progress you have in each is linked with the other. The advantage of course is that you are double stacked and will most likely dominate other players when your stacks unite towards the end of the tourney and as already mentioned this is a disadvantage for players who have less money to throw at a single tourney.
Hmm.. so i'm guessing everytime you re-enter you have to pay rake again? If so then it a clever tactical money making scheme on fulltilts part and i think i'll just stick to rebuys, which is in essence the same thing,.. although it would be damn cool to be playing the same $50k tourney on 5 different tables

Actually I think it's a good idea too. It just doesn't benefit me cos I only buy in once. These tourneys are bad for players like me cos I will be short-stacked. I don't care about the extra rake, I think it's fair enough, and I don't blame the sites for wanting to make more money. In fact I want full tilt to make more money and improve their site for me.

It's interesting.. I can't play on FTP - well, not without a lot of hassel anyway- so I'm yet to try RUSH either. But personally, I know some people don't like these novel 'twists' to their fav game. But IMO - I play for fun more than anything else and I enjoy mixing it up. Change ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS brings anxiety and fear. But I think it's great to seem some variety to spice up a game I love so much.
Would definitely have a crack at this if I had a working FTP account.

Posted by IslandJack: These new game types are following each other up fast. Too fast IMO. They just started the "On Demand" thing not too long ago, and now this already.
Probably will give it a try sometime soon, I just had a look. Makes for a lot of rake for FT. In rebuys you don't pay Rake on the rebuys.
No rake on rebuys at FTP ? Didn't know that - at PKR you pay reduced rake on rebuys..
