I have seen some people complaining abouyt the free account in the players only saying that the points are for play money and doesnt count for anything more. As i said before people had to play the garanteed rebuy tournments in order to get some money. I understand Players Only strategy, they give us points to play the garanteed rebuy tournments because they know its hard to survive without making rebuy. but you cant rebuy with points so you need to put money in your account in order to get something in those kind of tournments. Its marketing and very smart marketing in my opinion.
Nobody pays me to make defense of anyone, i just think its unfair to see people complaining in this when we all know the big effort everybody in BRM team makes everydays to give us the best bonus and promotions.
Today i decidade to put some effort in one of those rebuy tournment and so far so good i achieve tio pass the rebuy time, and i collected good stack. There was around 220 players and when it came to the last 50 i had 22k in my stack, my father called me to go out with him cause he needed to buy something and i had top go with him. I was afraid that all my stack was going to be killed by the blinds, but when i came back home 2 hours after the tournment was already finished, but luckely i finished in 29th place, the second place after the bubble, i won less than 10$ but iam happy. I wa unlucky cause i know i could have better prize but at least i won something, and MORE IMPORTANT I CAN PUT HERE REAL FACTS AGAINST THE PEOPLE WHO IS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PLAYERS ONLY POINTS. Now iam going to play alittle bit in the nl2 tables and try to see how it works in the cash tables, cause i already know how it works in the tournments.

Just also to add - you can use the points in PLENTY of tourney that are NOT rebuys.. In fact - I'd recommend avoiding the rebuys TBH - since as kinogomes mentioned, you cannot make any rebuys with points - only your original entry.

Thats true, I didnt have any luck in the rebuy tournys, too many players going all in on a gamble knowing they can rebuy, sort of instantly puts you at a disadvantage, stick to the freeze outs if you signup to this offer!

Did you ever tryed to contact thelive support. I think you should try even with the account suspended, maybe it works and youll have the problem resolved in the same time. I think they have a good and fast online support. In case the online support doesnt work try to email BRM support, maybve they know the reasons.

Since you made you account have you been long time without playing it???
I think they dont suspend the account without a reason, they must have a big reason for that, multi accounting or somethnig that is not good. I have my account there for almost a month and i dont play there too much, but i play almost everydays 1 tournment, and my account is wo0rking really well.
I wish i could help you but i think you should send an email for both BRM and players only.

Thanks for the link I just spoke with them and they want me to send them ID doco'S to review my account, which is fine as the cashier asks for this if you want to withdraw money. But today I read their T&C'S and section 5 says the following . Residents of Australia and Singapore are not permitted to play using the players only software accounts of these countries will be closed any balances VOID.I asked if this is the reason, they said NO. All they said was send documents and we will review it I dont think I will do this if their terms say any balances will be void. So all you Aussies be warned

Interesting.. The Merge network is actually based in Australia.. So I think it's actually a network thing.. I don't know why Players Only would have suddenly opened this promo up to Aussies though..
I've signed up to other rooms on Merge accidentally that didn't allow aussies and I couldn't sit at real money tables it would say something like "Due to restrictions you may not sit at a real money table" and I'd be restricted to play money..
