ADMIN just a suggestion, stop paying people to post, i would like to see how many people still post 300 times a day. KEPP UP THE GOOD WORK Thumbs Up Thumbs Up LET US KNOW HOW YOU GO Thumbs Up Thumbs Up GOOD LUCK WITH POKER Thumbs Up Thumbs Up how do posts like these warrant your 8c???? almost 2 thousand posts in 2 months are you serious?? im an active at 2 other forums and i can give you my details and you will see i post the same as i do here and they dont pay me. I try and keep all my post poker related and i also tried to do helpfull posts. To me this forum is a load of b******t!!!! i think most, if not all of its members are here abusing the payment system you have.

I for one do not give a F### about no 8c per post, and once again i will offer all my BRM points up for donation, or plain and symply BRM can take them away from me i dont care, i dont want them or need them.

Marco, thanks for your input. We're constantly trying to improve on every aspect of bankrollmob, as possible and within reasonable limits.

For the forum posts points thingy, it started out with 10 points for each post.
Then it was changed like this (as I recall, might not be 100% correct):

* 10 points for all posts in on-topic forums and 5 points for posts in offtopic forum.

Later...

* Minimum 100 characters needed for a post to be "points worthy"

Later...

* Points decreased to 8 points for ontopic posts and 3 points for posts in offtopic.

And we now have "temporary ban systems" in place that will give a ban (anything from 1 day, 1 week, 2 week, 1 month, 3 monts to forever) if rules are violated in any way.

My point is - when we feel it's necessary (and when lots of people start pointing something out, like you do in this thread), we will take a look at it, crunch some numbers etc., and see what might be done to improve things.

Still, there's lots of things to be done and tested. One thing I'm personally most hooked on at the moment, is limiting the amounts of "point worthy" posts to maybe 5 posts a day, any amount of posts above 5 within a 24 hour period does not give points. Or, we can maybe somehow make the forum points "locked" so they are not available for cashouts, but can only be used internally for mobsafe cracks, sportsbetting (if we decide to do that), etc etc.

LOL, the same b******t posts keep coming up, and the same b******t threads!! What a waste of what potentially could be a good forum. Too many degenerate desperate wanna be poker players needing 8c per posts!! LMAO especially ______ like you dont know who that is!!! LMAO Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile

Hey Marco, dunno what's wrong with you man, you always want to point out that you do not need those points whatsoever, yes I see a lot of people abusing the system and I don't like either, it pisses me off to tell you the truth, but how about those other members that just needs some points to make the cashout?

Don't be selfish dude. I don't care if you don't need them but some do. Were not all rich and wealthy like you probably do. If you don't want them then donate them. no need to thrash something that started as an idea and grew so much.

if you have problems with those abusers, i do too. In fact let's make a list of those who are probably just abusing the point system. for those that who do not, let them be. i've been a member for quite a while and seen people post so many then stop suddenly. the admin is already making ways to stop abusing the system.

Marco is actually "tilting"; very common in poker, but here in the forum is something new! This thread basically is directed towards me because of disagreement in opinions in other threads. So in other words, I am the maniac with almost 2k posts in a short period of time, apparently interested only in the cents these posts give me!

It´s a nice try Marco, but actually you forgot to change the name of this thread to "ANOTHER JOKE".

I cant believe people need points for anything, if your an affiliate you shouldnt need any posting points, if your not than suffer!! BRM your a very good site but i dont think you should pay any forum members for this junk thats kept being posted!!! As a newish site i can see your need to keep your members happy and to attract members.

BRM ADMIN:

i have been browsing other free bankroll sites and i have come up with this.

1) other sites do not pay for forum posts
2) other sites only allow 1 freebankroll per person / BRM allows all freebankrolls if you can get them
3) other sites dont have all the options BRM does

BRM your the obvious leader in free bankrolls and you stand out head and shoulders above the rest. I think your missing a good/great forum by paying mob points for posts. When you get rid of this system which is not needed as your the best and you will keep getting members for this reason your forum will start to be worthy.

You can't just take away easily something that is planned for quite a while and made it into a cool system. It takes time. Just like the suggestions that you are making, it takes time for the people at BRM to study and apply it.

You think I'm abusing points? I have started posting here even when the points were not active yet, participated in beta testing it and it took me 5 months to get to 900+ posts.

Again, don't be selfish, BRM should take the points off from those abusers.

I do not think your abusing, i think your posting because like you said you need the cents!!

As I already said in this thread - we WILL change things if it's necessary or if the quality of posts doesn't improve Smile But it't not something we will do on saturday or on march 5th or something, it's weeks out probably. Just wait and see what will happen in the future.

TO ALL OF YOU: I really really really don't want to wake up tomorrow and see anybody calling eachother bad names or accusing eachother. The only weapon we have against that, is to ban accounts for a period of time, so it's a weapon that will be used if necessary. If any of you have a problem with another member of feel they are abusing the system, LET US KNOW privately and we will look into it and do what's necessary.

There's only one sheriff here... Mobster

.... just have a NORMAL discussion about the points system if you like, one of you might come up with a brilliant idea that will not only help improve the points system, but might make the world a better place!

ADMIN, after all this and im sure your not blind how you can have this attitude i dont know, but i take my hat of to you. If you like though you can ban me, i know im starting alot of the trouble and i can accept that, i will no longer posts on anything here that is not poker. Looks to me that out of 100 threads 1 is actually about poker, others a b******t threads.

What a nice way to make friends here, you do know that everybody contributes to all threads, especially the ones you consider BS.

I think a poker forum can be mature enough to have the fun nonsense which helps us cool down after a bad beat, or laugh when something funny is posted, or even get something off their chest like a car being stolen and having all of us there to support during the tough times.

So please let´s not ONLY talk about poker, because life is NOT all about poker.

I agree with this, and on some cases those threads are already been created / answered.

Marco, send to admin those possible people that are abusing the points.

It's on the to-do list, a function so that everybody can disable the subforums they don't want to see at the "last updated threads"-page, so if somebody don't wanna see offtopic threads, they can just disable it and they will have to enter the offtopic forum manually, to view threads.

now that's handy as I rarely take a look on off-topics.
