It's faster to contact support via e-mail rather than waiting for live support to go online as the time it's online varies. It takes so much extra time to man the live support compared to how many we can help via e-mail because people tend to "stick around" for a long time on chat plus they'll ask questions they would otherwise have found in our Support/FAQ section when trying to e-mail.
So, live support is something we do every now and then, but not something I recommend you wait around for.
