Can anyone recommend some sites where I can get a cool avatar? Everything I have tried to upload to BRM has been too large of a file. This thread could help many new people to the site.

I don´t really understand what you mean by a site with avatars, you mean a site with images you can download? If so, there are many imagebanks where you can download the "thumbnails" (small version of a larger image).
Try www.imagebank.com - there you can perform a search on any type of image you want. Good luck!
Just a quick tip regarding the search, after you do your simple search on the homepage, do it again on the right side, but this time click and enable the license types; rights-managed, rights-ready, etc...

1)Search google for image you like 2)Than search google for a program called ifranview, the program is free and will let you edit the image(resize to 80x80)
