Approximately 35 years ago i was introduced to a three card poker game. Its basically the same as your best five, only there is only three cards. After the first card is dealt(up to 10 players),the person to the immediate left of the dealer bets,or folds.the first bet is one dollar.you bet one dollar or you fold. there is no checking.the next player can call,fold,or raise. The raise is aiways the same as the bet for each card delt.First card,1 dollar,second card 2 dollars,and three for the third card. IN a three card hand with three raises per card ,means you could have potentially 24 dollars in one hand. With ten players you can see the possibilities. today these same guys play ten,twenty,thirty. now thats some fun poker for nice stakes.
