Super Sunday update, so close......  0
Here's the update on mu Super poker Sunday, playing 5 big tournements:
No money in the big little 100K, No money in the Noble poker 200K(out in 182th position)
, 150 paid and No money in the 5million on stars(out after a AQ8 flop, holding AQ, my
oponent holding 88 Sad ). And than....there was money.....
The 1,5 million on ftp topped at 3 + million$. I went out in 569th position,winning 654$,
but not before winning a 200$ bounty and my second 'i knocked out a pro at FTP'
t-shirt for knocking out pokerpro Mike Matusow Smile . I went out after i raised with AK,
flopped KK9. I checked, my oponent raised an i reraised all-in. He called showing KQ,
managed to hit his Q on the turn Sad . And than....so f Smile cking close.....
Picture this after more than 14 hours of a poker( 8+ hours in this tournement), its
early in the morning and your still in the mini ftops 300K( prize money topped at 550K,
80K for the winner).Ther are 21 players left and your in 9th position..adrenaline
pumping friends going crazy and u have KK on the big blind. Your praying for someone to
bet, and finally the small bling raises almost half his stack. U reraise all-in and he calls
with AK...hits his A on the river Sad Angry . Out in 21th, winning 1300+$, instead of finding
yourself in 3th position with 21 players left! So close......After a very lucratif week and
weekend, i barely managed to smile before dozing off into a very, very
restless sleep............... Confused

How long have you been playing JazzyJeff ?
Any tips for us guys playing the low limits?

And also, do you satellite in or buy-in straight to these tourneys?

Tx guys Smile .Jack: I've been playing for about 4,5years, 3 years ago i was running very
well, won a couple of tournements, enough to quit my job and finance half my house.
Played trough Titan poker in 2 EPT's, Irish Open(20th) and Madrid Open. After a
hospital visit, they made a medical mistake and nearly killed me.I lost my house and
my poker money because i had to recover for over 2 years, no job. I'm still
sueing them and will get my pokermoney back. But a couple of monyh's ago, while
still at home, not 100% yet, i started playing freeroll's and free money from BRM
(Ty very much, BRM) and i've been very succesfull building bankrolls on some of the site's
I've been waiting for a small breaktrough, looks like i'm there now Smile

As to some tips: in freerolls/low limits u can't play normal poker, to many guys doing
stuff there not suppose to and getting lucky at it. But the best to widen your
chances are: pay alot of attention to betting paterns those are the online'tells',
Master the calculation of your chances in a hand, determine your percentage of
your chances you take on, and stick to it , no matter how good a hand your holding.
Be able to lay down big hands, if there's a terrible flop. Pay good attention to
your position on the table and work with pot-odds and implied-odds, thats more
important than the 2 cards your holding. Smile Hope u find this interesting Smile

Well done ! Must have hurt to come so close though. Still, great results, I think I can speak for *most* of us here when I say we only dream of being skilled enough to build a roll to play the sunday majors..

Too bad but yes bad beats are also part of poker, u always run into a couple and
u just have to hope they aren't decisive. Smile

Jess, buiding bankrolls trough freerolls require's not only skill but some
luck too. After that don't be afraid to buy-in into bigger tourney's.
There is were u can use your pokerskills and hope for a breaktrough.
If u try them u'll find out your real pokerskills, u might just have what it
takes Smile Never know till u try Smile , in freerolls its difficult to know your strenght Cool

------------
I like this site and i will read and post more, i am also very thankfull for
BRM for bringing me back on pokertrack,at least at the beginning of a
pokertrack Cool
