Whats your total profit in Poker? Or total loss?

I haven't made a deposit yet! Just played freerolls and got free bankrolls Smile

Pokerstars: $700
VC Poker: $135
Unibet: 174 ($261 Canadian Dollars)

So I guess I'm at $1100 Smile What about you?

Circa €11,000. Which would be $16,000 in dollars. Thats over 2 years though. This is pure profit. Including losses obv.

Edit: Oh and I've blown most of that in going out and on living expenses!

Wow, you guys must be very good, in my case however, there are profits but they are so small that when I get back to the table, i lost them again, lets say ive got 50, then i can make it to about 70 then ill lose some and get back to 50. can't seem to keep on winning.

@Im2good4u maybe you play to tight remember to draw out on your opponent too and value bet your good hands. I don't know my exact profit since my poker has only been serious the last 1,5 years but total around 10K I think over 4-5 years. But im hoping to do this in 1 year now that im pretty serious about it and spend nerdy many hours on it Smile

I've been playing about 5-6 months. I actually stopped playing for a month cause I found it boring. But after reading a couple poker books and joining a couple poker forums, I found a new love for the game Smile.

I watch a lot of poker on TV, I think that helps and I usually only play one type of game (one table sit and go). If I were to play cash game, I'd be lucky to break even cause I never play that type of game. So my advice is find a game you like and practice, practice, practice lol. And have good bankroll management. And if you still can't win, read a poker book, that really helped me ,

Yeah, i try to play loose sometimes even bluff but it just doesn't work on .05 NL so I moved up to .10/.25 and found out that you can actually make better calls there. however, there are still a lot of maniacs there!!! Angry Aww crap!
how i wish i can call on you to beat the hell our of those people Blink

I agree with you on the lower limit's it's hard to bluff so I try not to. I think the most profitable style is to pressure them with small bet/raises and then wait for their mistake. Get them thinking everytime you got a hand that you will play, raise it try not to limp. Continue on the flop you will be amazed how many will fold to you but by playing looser you will have to be ready to fold to raises pre and post flop. Most people fold if no hit on flop and few raise with a hit..they check-call your continuation bet because you raised pre they are affraid of a higher kicker or pockets(or maybe feel they are trapping with a top pair when they actually are letting you see a inside for free). So if you made your con bet with no hit and turn doesn't help opponent often check again and you can check it up and get a free river and maybe a check there too. But it's so rare you get a raise or even a call that it will be profitable.
The thing that has improved my game most is Poker college/university there are alot of poker educational sites where you pay a monthly fee to see training videos. You see pro's playing at different levels while they play they tell what they are thinking and why. Really good stuff totally changed my game just after a couple of vids. I got a link to a site where they got alot of great vids on english at allmost all levels, I am a bit insecure about the forum rules so much trouble about posting links lately. But I dont think it's competition in anyway so wouldn't it be ok??

M3turbo, ya position is king lol. I can't believe how many times they will lay it down on the flop when you do a continuation bet.

I would never pay for videos, you can watch some free on youtube.

Heres a Gus Hanson strategy video

Yeah thanks I've seen it(think I've seen all free poker vids lol). But im talking online poker videos the site im talking about is with free vids but im not sure wether im allowed to post link in the forum. You should check them out they are really helpfull. But the site with the best vids is the sites where you have to pay. It's 10-20 $ for a month which is the amount you will increase your profit pr hour at NL25....just a stupid example Confused

Party poker : $100

Stars : Sharkscope says im up $200, but reality is Im in the neg prob around $200

FTP : $ 300

UB : Neg $50

But in all Im probbally gonna say ive lost $400. Cashed out around $200, so Im down $200. I do this for fun though.

This isnt counting how much I was up at one point, then lost. If that was the case that number would be much higher.

Ive beeb playing poker for a real long time so $200 isnt horrible.

Nice vids, 2 things though im not a tourney player and im not planning on playing a 5000$ anytime soon Smile I also gotta say that it is a very special tactic this guy is using. It seems he knows what he is doing but I think it's a hard to play his style without his knowledge and feeling with the game. I've never seen anybody play this way....very interesting.....think im gonna watch some more vids with that guy! Thumbs Up GeneYuss

After watching some more im beginnning to doubt this guy.....is this a joke?

------------
