Been trying to log on to Fulltilt and their site is experiencing problems. Any one else seeing this? Didn't know if I should post about it, but looking for feedback. Thanks BRM
Yes. It crashed about half an hour ago. I was playing 5 tables. The good thing is that I was playing cash games and I was winning. So, no damage done.
------------ From their website:
Unscheduled Maintenance In Progress We recently experienced a network outage. We expect to be operational shortly. We just need to rig the software a little bit more... LOL

Fulltlt Crashed!!! Luckily I wasn't playing anything but they had me send them a report, which I kindly did let them know what I was doing at the time, which was noting, just waiting for a freeroll to start. FT is ussually pretty good, but it must not have been down for long.

Hey Island, not pertaining to this thread, but I've taken a lot of your advice from the thread you sent during your final day in last months leaderboard chase. The thread where you listed various things like holding out until you have the good hands (the knuts more / less) and about being patient with the donks that constantly go all in. This is great advice for me (a beginner). Really do often think of your advice in that thread. Good Luck in all!
One thing! I was doing okay in a couple of games on FT prior to the crash. When I was able to get back on it was like I couldn't get back in the same groove. Know what I mean? The crash disrupted my focus, concentration or something. Just seemed to lose the groove I was in. Do you think playing a couple warm up games (like chip games) is a good idea prior to getting in to $$ games (small $$ in my case). Thanks again!

I for one think this is a good idea. I think they actually call it "warming up" on some Poker teaching sites. If I get the chance, I usually prefer starting something like an SnG or less important Tournament before a bigger one starts for me. (not that I have any real big ones to play, but you know what I mean ) Or a lower buy-in Sng before starting at higher buy-ins, just to "get the ball rolling". It´s that "groove" you felt was gone tonight. At least for me.

I was curious as to whether or not there was any belief in warm up games. Just seems like I always do a little better after 2 to 3 games. Again thanks! Lots of respect to you and your input.
