I feel that its a large mix of luck and skill for the first 3 hours till you hit the last 100 people left. Then you have to play the waiting game for people that try not to get knocked out right before they hit the small change that they will win when they come in 70th place. But the problem with these freerolls is they should have shorter time limits for calling and speed up blinds so that the blind amounts will eliminate the small stack players and help speed up tourny times.

i play in a lot of freerols and find no matter what hand you are dealt its better to sit out the first few hands as yuo always get the mad all in people so even if youve got a half deacent hand drop it an wait or your tourny is on the line because 9/10 times youll be called all in

What I like to do is push all in for 8 out of 10 first hands. That gets me a nice chip lead or I go broke. Once I get a chip lead than I start bullying lol.

thats one way but the odds of you winning the all in are low so id rather wait it out then play the game well its nice to have the chip lead but if you go out first hand youve gotta wait ages for the next freeroll

If were talking about freerolls I just push every hand till I double up at least once then I play for real. I like how the structures are for tournies now, Only because for a real tournment I very tight-aggressive. Wait for that hand then strike.

even when you have a stromg hand pre flop if you make the right bet you know someone will come over the top so you have 2 choices all in or wait to be homest i used to push all in all the ime and do well once i had a chip stack then i changed my play to see if i could work it up but by then the chip leaders have to many and bully the hell out of you

I like playing a lot of pots for cheap in position in the early levels with hands like suited connectors and small pairs, looking to flop big. Once the blinds go up, I play a lot tighter, and just raise or fold stuff, changing to all in or fold with <10BB's.

i find if you sit out alot of hands and only play premium hands you gain respect from the table enableing you to play the odd bluff but the down side to this is most times when you do play and raise most will fold as they put you on a hand because you havnt played many hands so its got its up sides but not very profitable
