Im running really bad last few days, I cant get any cards, if I get some good cards cant hit flop, and if I hit flop there is crazy bad beat on river...uuggghhhhh..... I just counted people have against me hit 3 outer on river 7 times in row... And actually that doesnt annoying me that much! What annoying me is thing that biggest retards with crazy plays win! And after all those bad beats I registered for tonights mini primetime on PKR (5,5$ buy in). 10 000 starting chips! I won hand with flush and climb up to 16 000 in chips... So big blind was 100... 3 people limps, guy raises 400, he get two callers! I have KK. I raise 5500!!! Blind is 100! And guess what? Two guy calls me!!! And off course A on fucking flop! So guy goes all in, I fold, other guy folds also and he show AJ!!!! Can you imagine! He freaking calls 5500 raise with AJ! I wouldnt call 800 reraise with fucking AJ!!! So, Im obviously little tilted... On bb I get J2... 6 people limps and I check... flop was J29 (29 harts)... first guy raises 900, secound calls, third calls, and I (tilted) go all in. First guy snap call me and I pray that he is on flush draw... He shows J3!!! He called all in with J and 3 kicker! turn Q and river 3!!!!!!!!! How they can fucking call that?????????????????????????????????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How someone who raises and see two people calls and 3rd guy goes all in can call with fucking one pair and 3 kicker??? HOW???? How can you raise 5500 when bb is 100 and get two callers??? HOW??? How guy can call that much with AJ??? HOW?? And that is 50th time in row!
Im sorry for moaning guys... I just had to tell that to someone... I hope someone will read this... This is my first time to moan like this. I dont like this type of treads but I had to tell this to someone... I will make a break from poker for few days because I cant take this anymore, Feel I can beat anything or anyone. Just when you think: wow I had so much bad beats I hope this is end you get another and another and another and all spiced up with unreal donk calls and plays and you ask to yourself: why Im trying to play good??? Maybe I should play like them! And that is sure sign that I need brake from poker...
Im going to smoke some weed and drink some tequila to cool down!!!

jovica, doesn't sound like the normal you. Rarely / never see you like this. Wish I could do something to help you out. Maybe the killer green will help your thought process. You know when things get that bad, they can't get much worse. I took Islands advice, but I;m a beginner. I wait patiently for only the best hands (i know KK is very good) and that's what I do wait and call min blinds, fold out if big raise preflop. Not much advice. Wish you better Luck in near future.

i just wanna ask u one thing, who would you wanna play against, players who are better than you or worse than you ????
i guess its the later, so expect them to play like that and make these retard calls. surely if u play against too many of them , variance wud be bit higher and you will have more badbeats. but long term you'll be winner
and if u wanna play against better players, then u'll be the one sucking out like they did now and then, but u'll lose in long term.
be positive and take a break, im sure u'll crush them after u come back after this downswing

i'm sorry for the unlucky streak jovi...but i think you put it all on yourself...how can you raise 5500 when the big blind's only 100?...i mean,you're really inviting trouble with that kind of raise especially if there are curious donks at the table.
what i learned playing in tournaments so far is not getting too attached with big hands early. i noticed there are some guys who would really play junk hands early on trying to catch something just to get a nice stack going then play tight the rest of the way.

Pot was around 1700 chips. I thought to go all in right there because I didnt want to play with kings with more then one player. But I decided to raise 5500 instead couse I didnt want everyone to fold.. I couldnt imagine that two of them goin to call that kind of bet. After all I raised big because it is good to raise big when you have KK or AA. You dont want lot of people to call but you definitely want caller...

The guy calling with AJ is obviously an idiot, nothing to be done about that, as long as you don´t start playing like that, no worries! It hurts, but obviously a Donk.
About the raise, I have a different opinion (am I´m not saying it´s right), but I would play that differently. 1.700 in the pot, you´ve got 16.000. Holding KK, i would actually like a couple of calllers, but a big reraise is mandatory. 5.500 would normally have made everyone else fold, unless they were holding a monster themselves, and AJ is no monster. I would have re-raised maybe to 1.000. enough for 100 BB IMO. You might get a caller or 2, which is what you want, but whether it´s 1 or 2, the result stays the same if an A hits the flop. This way you´ve increased the pot considerably, but if an A DOES hit on the flop, you can still fold without losing too much of your stack, which in this case you did. I the A doesn´t hit, you have seen 70% of your possible hand, and can start to raise pot-sized (which has grown considerably by then, and maybe someone paired the board and thinks he´s ahead so will raise first).
Anyway, the point is that early in the tourney I would be more careful with your monsters and try to rack up some chips without taking too many hits. As the game moves on, I play those KK´s more agressively.
I played more agressively in a $11 buy-in today, and it cost me the tourney early on, which just goes to show. (so I will follow my own advice next time... )
Just my thought on the info you gave, don´t know if that´s "statistically" correct or not or +EV.

I get your point Island but you must know that 3 of them already had 400 invested in that pot and they all would call if I raised 1000. And I didnt wont all of them to call so I had to make raise big enough to make 2 of them folding...

after huge months good runs u start feeling tired and luck was run away from u so better no play poker few days and all wil be good in future we allways up and down sesions have in poker then u up u must play more and more then u down u must stop playing and safe all the monay that u win better luck in future hope next weak your run will be much more better and u win against all unbrained callers

I think i am now passing through something like you this last days, but what i cant understand is why everyone says you played wrong. I dont think you played wrong. Ok, perhaps the KK raise was a bit too high, but the all-in J2 was justifiable. And that guy who called with J3: rather he was 10 times with more chips than you and thinking he could put you off, or he was trying his vry new no-deposit bonus, without caring about if he would win or loose. Take it easy and, btw, grass and alcohol will only turn your brain inside out, not solving problem. Read a crime book

what island's trying to say basically is,early on even if you had monsters, you've got to take it slow...take a few hits if you had to...i mean, you've got 16,000 chips early with the BB at 100...why risk a huge chunk of that?
yup, i understand it's a monster hand but you've got to realize this too...
while we love to bash these people and call them "donks" for calling with those hands,you should also realize that the play you did could be read as a donk move also by these people.in their eyes you could be the donk raising too much with a low pair or a suited weak ace.especially that early in the tournament...

Jovi, good luck with your break. I know where to get some really good weed if you need some. You're a solid player don't let the beats get you down, it's just the variance of the game, the fishie's gotta win sometime or they won't come back. One other thing, something you and Island were talking about. I've noticed that the donkie's actually tend to be more scared of a smaller raise because they think you're "trapping" and that you want them to call or raise, so they think they will show you by folding. Which is what you wanted them to do with their sh*t box hands anyway. GL with ur break, my weeks, been going substantially better, but u can smoke 1 for me anyway. hm, im happy had this week a final tabel and is was over on the 4th place and that after almost a week of nothing so chill a littkle bit forget the bad beats and start whit fresh power hope you will be posting soon better news from your game

Actually wondered how you've been jovica, not playing for 48 hours must have been seemed like forever to someone like yourself! Don't know if you remember me, but helped out with advice on making deposit. I'm using my bank router # to start at FT since I can't play in some, plus still need practice. Well, Good Luck 2night or 2day not sure of your time zone.
