World Series of Poker (WSOP) Situation: 1st hand of a $200 Turbo tournament. Blinds/Antes: $10/$20 Your Position/Stack: Button / $1,500 Your Hand: Js10s Action: UTG raises to $75 which is called by UTG+1, Hijack & Cutoff. ... You decide to call and so do the SB & BB.
Flop: AcQs9s
Checked to UTG who goes all in, folded around to you. What factors determine whether you call or fold?

1st hand? FOLD! You will have lot of outs and in most cases you will be favourite but since that is first hand.. You dont want to call that. Also he can have As Ks and you can be in big trouble then. Early stage of tournament/never risk all chips!

to me, it depends on your bankroll. If your bankroll is big enough that the $200 won't hurt it very much, call bacause you have 15 outs that gives you a little over 50% chance of winning. If your bankroll is small, fold and wait till you have the nutz to go all-in.

I dont know if i would have made the call pre flop in the first hand, but now with flop on tha table, and you have 17 outs, you have to call, no doubt about that.

I'm just not a tight enough player to fold this kind of draw, though some of the arguments for folding had very valid points. It's like they say there's often more than one right way to play a poker hand. Nice question! THanks BMW and WSOP!

Relly, everyone AI, 1st hand of the game, with only a drawing hand, potentil set out there for FH then you need that str8 flush, or A whatever of spades and your flush draw is dead(excluding str8 flush) , why would someone go AI so eairly? must have min set here IMO, most likely AKs, lots of hands can still beat your strong looking draw.. If villian has set, you are behind...if villian has Ks any outher spade, you are behind, same for As rag Why would he go AI here, bluff for a small pay off?? IMO enter this pot you do so behind, you would at best be taking a flip, dont let that str8 flush be so attractive, im going to fold.

If u usually play bingo, u call a flip. If u play poker, maybe u call also on a hunch. I'm bingo more than often, but too many times have i waited for the flush that never came. FOLD

I´d like to see what you would do if you had bought in to this one for $50, or$100?
Seriously, that is such nonsense, and I don´t think it´s a good idea to advise others to do it. People come here for advice. If any of this were actual Poker, you´d see the first day of the WSOP ending at 11:00 in the morning, everyone having gone all-in the first 2 hours.

Please....
I think he is joking. If he is not joking then he have serious troubles with his game! And nice to see Island and Bigfoot saying fold. For moment I was concerned that Im only here who thinks that this is fold! phew
Easy fold.. i think only gambler can call an overbet all in like that with nothing.. ok we have combo draw.. and? fold and wait better situation to made hughe stack..
and yes it depends on your bankroll too.. So if u have 2000000$ roll, u can go all in every hand.. but it isnt poker..
