I have just turned on showdown to watch clash of titans. I still believe Daniel will win and seems that he is doing just fine! Does anybody else watch? What are your impressions?

Daniel is putting up a valiant fight but he is down. I get the feeling Blom is taking it a little easy on him so as not to emabarass Negreanu or get caught and be embarassed. More than money at stake here obv.

Yes Green I think you need. There was tread 15 days ago about this match so thats how I know and also when you log in on poker stars you can see it in news.
I think now I know what is Daniels problem in this match! He dont know to multi table! He playing much better now when he plays only one table... He is old school!

Posted by jovicakralj: They play on two tables now since daniel lost 130k... Unreal!
Pretty much like I thought would happen jovi. I like them both but HU multitable is not Daniel's forte, I don't even think Phil Ivey takes on these HU monsters. To complete this challenge Blom should now enter five major tournaments alongside negreanu and let's see how they finish...

Thanks jovica, I found it and also seen Isildur playing some Kidpoker in the Showdown. I'll have to watch for upcoming events as such. Might learn something. Also, like you and doz's post with the High Stakes Poker. Last episode it was nice to see Robl get Ruffin. Good Luck to all!

Yeah i watched a little, pretty disappointed too. I am a big Negreanu-fan so i'm rooting for him, but its going as i expected. Blom is a very good and aggresive cashplayer and i pretty much expected a slaughter. Hard to watch, i expected a bit more
honestly I am not surprised that Daniel got owned, no doubt he is world class but I think in a HU game with Isildur1, he has no edge at all. He is more comfortable in a normal 6-10 handed game. HU is just totally different.

I watched for a while. Daniel got hammered on 2 tables, 1 table was first hand. I guess I was there for little over 1 hour. The disrespect that I wintessed was totally uncalled for. I said from the beginning that I didn't think Daniel was up to this. And this is why. He plays anywhere from 10-15 hours of poker/day. But his poker is face to face. Isldur plays those same amount of hours, but online. Poker on a table and online are 2 entirely different games. The people who was insulting Daniel for losing are just sad. Daniel and every other "professional" deserve all our respect no matter what. When I left, Daniel was down over $118 000. I couldn't sit there and see him get torn to shreads by Aholes. Lets see them play this guy, and lose their money to. Bunch of punks. I am not one bit impressed by the chatter.
He sure didn't deserve the crap being said against him at all. And it's that kind of crap that pisses me off. So to daniel, keep your chin up dude. You are still one of the BEST poker players in the world.
