There have been a lot of great poker players that have played the game over the past few decades. Many players have made their mark on the game in one way or another. Today I want to look at some of the famous poker players that are still playing today. These players have already solidified their spots as some of pokers best players and they all continue to play in major tournaments today. There are many other players that could be on this list, but here are a few I feel deserve some recognition.
* Phil Hellmuth is the all-time leader in World Series of Poker Bracelets as of right now. Hellmuth has won a total of eleven WSOP bracelets over his career thus far and he is always trying to add to that total. If you already know who Hellmuth is then you will most likely love him or hate him. If you’re new to poker and don’t know who Hellmuth is yet, you’ll quickly become familiar with him. He makes a lot of appearances of poker television shows as he is very camera friendly.
* Phil Ivey in a lot of people’s minds is the best poker player in the world right now and possibly ever to play the game. Ivey has won seven WSOP bracelets in his career thus far, but I can almost guarantee that he will win more before he stops playing poker. Ivey plays a lot of online poker at Full Tilt Poker as well and is constantly atop of the leaderboard for most winnings.
* Doyle Brunson is one of the most well known poker players in the world and that’s in large part due to the fact he has been playing the game basically forever. Brunson also runs an online poker room called Doyles Room where he can be found playing along with other professional players. Brunson continues to play today and has 10 WSOP bracelets under his belt already. He has definitely slowed down over the past few years, but there is no doubt he is one of the best poker players 0f all-time.
* Scotty Nguyen is a very outspoken poker player that helped poker become popular in other parts of the world apart from the USA. Scotty has won five WSOP bracelets in his career along with one WPT title. Nguyen is from Vietnam originally, but moved to the USA when he was a teenager. Scotty loves to gamble and is one of the most skilled poker players I’ve seen play.
* Chris Ferguson of Full Tilt Poker has won five WSOP bracelets in his career which is amongst the most by any player in history. Ferguson is well known due to the fact he looks a lot like Jesus. Chris is one of the best heads-up poker players in the world and he has a knack for getting a solid read off of his opponent. He also plays like a rock so it’s nearly impossible to get a read off of him and therefore he is feared by many of his peers.

WHy there is not Tom Dawn he is the best poker player online and not the worst offline .. I think durrr is the best !! Phil Ivey .. I even have not seen him for 4month~

Lol how many bracelets have u won? @ Fackinas: This is the top 5 in results, so no Tom Dawn. I like durr as well, but Ivey rules, and he has defenitly been active and winning last 4 month's
