Howdy folks. This is my first post as a member. Have put some comments in though from othesr out there. Just would like to tell ya` ll about some live n online sit n gos and touney play. A few weeks ago, I went to local casino with some buddys to unwind from the work week. First we got together about a dozen or so, had some drinks and a BBQ,,, some boys had a few too many only 6 of us made it to the Casino. This is at GOLD COAST.. In Australia. The lowest stakes to play down in the poker den, is $2 - $4 an $2.50 - $5. I took $200 to the $2 - $4 table,,, mind you I ve never player at these stakes before. 25c- 50c is the highest I play online.So I had to keep it together knowing this. I played for about 1 hour or so. Called some hands , mostly folded untill I d have descent cards to make a call or raise. I lost $30 with A-Q os... I wasnt to happy being beat with 5-9 hearts. Hit a 5 in da river. Only a small loss early. Later I got Q-J os. an I just made the call,,,, about 6 callers on a 10 handed table. Flop came down and I hit the J. UTG bets $15,, get 1 calle,,,r skip to me an I raise to $30,,, all fold after me except for UTG to see the turn. Turn card comes down,,, an raised my thought of a str8 draw to my opponent she checks i rasie to $60 UTG calls river card comes down and all you needed was a 10 for a str8 draw ,,, but some how I wasnt fazed by that,,,, UTG bets $50 ,,, And I thought only $50 into a $200 pot and ended up calling only to have the opponent to turn her cards and say she had nothing. I flipped mine over said Q-J and took down a $300 pot. So Relieved after the early loss.. But agood experience overall. Sat ther until the BB came around agian and asked to cash out. The table of players seem quite good an intelligent opponents. Thanks for reading hopefully will keep ya` ll post of more of my tourneys n sitngos online activities.
