Sorry to say that, but ignored the a proper Bankrollmanagement. You can´t play with a Bankroll of $ 10 a limit of NL 10 cash game. Otherwise it can happen what you described above. You have to start with the absolut lowest limit of 0,01/0,02

Agreed, and really thats too much. Should of chose a double up sng (if they exist) at least there it's likely to double your money.
Edit: Never play for more then 5% of your bankroll. In mtt's never play for more then 2%!

If u receive a bonus and it is small and you want to grow it then do not start playing 5/10ct cash games where u need atleast 250$ bankroll.. Start playing 1/2ct and here u need to have atleast 50$..

Can I make a suggestion.....
Go on Full tilt and take their Sit N Learn lessons and watch all their video's. Then take their challenges. They even have a lesson on bankroll management.
Some of the stuff they say is stuff you already know... but there is always something to learn in them!

with 10$ the 0.10 blinds are too high. i could say if you are bit of unlucky in your session the 0.04 blinds are high too. try to double a few times your buy in in 0.02 and then climb up to the next lvl. unless you cant stand waiting as you said, you pick a couple of hands in higher limits you go all in and whatever comes

Posted by shokaku: A one buy in bankrollmanagement can lead to an early bustout. We all know that. But with just 10 bucks there is not that much one can do.
As one said before, DoubleUp-SNG´s would be a good choice. They are pretty easy to beat and you have, even when you are not that fit, a good chance to double up.
When i got my $10 from action poker i started playing 1cent 2 cent tables then progressed on to 5cent 10cent when i had $40 just depends how you play, i was playing on a 9 player table so i could be really loose agressive, but i did get some really good hands.
Just play at 1cent 2cent and be really patient and learn

The bankroll management rule is important but i don't think it should apply to less than $30. 1 and 2 cent tables are too donkish to be able to play profitable poker so you end up with more variance which cancels out brm. 0.05/0.10 is not that much better.
But I assume that everyone has more than $10 to spare in their life. As long as you can deposit more and you don't lose money at a faster rate than you can afford then there is no problem playing at any stakes. If you lose this much in an hour then maybe it's best only to play an hour a day plus freerolls.

thats what i was thinking BRM with $10 is well almost impossible, and tbh going down to 1,2cent its just complete bingo as when you raise you get called from most of the table with alsorts of nonsense and end up get your As busted from 93 off. its hard to see that coming. i think $10 you are on your arse anyway if your going to play a cash game i would go into the cash game with $5 it gives you 2 blasts and you have 50 bb
