Another Horrid allin beat at Fulltilt late in a tourny  0
Again I'm busted late in a touney by picking off a over aggressive donky allin !!!!! Im in position with player who has raised preflop 21 out of 26 last hands and allin his last 3 hands preflop with a good stack. I have KQ and raise preflop, of course the donk player reraises allin ... i already made up my mind that if he pushed allin i was calling... so i call all my chips...he turns over 2 5 off suit flop 3JK rainbow turn comes 2 and river spikes another 2.. and i bust and so the uncaany long shot hits for the worst player at the table ..he moves on and i am left to ponder why i even waste my time getting reads on players and making the best decisions only to lose to rediculous long shot hits !!!! Always the way i go out too... 9 times out of 10 i make the correct read and play but get duked by a bad player...Anyone know how to win on online poker?.. Aww crap!

First off i'd like to say I feel your pain.....If you've ever spent any amount of time at the poker table, then you more than likely have felt the sting of losing to a player that puts his money in with a 7% chance to win. Here's the thing, I have been diligently working on not letting these types of beats get me down, or even phase me. We must realize that we need these players to turn a profit, and beat the rake. It's not alway's easy to hear, as you may have heard this before, the truth has a tendency to stick around though. I personally do not play KQs or off suit before the final table, but i could've lost with AKs in your position, in your defense. So I'd say my advice is to dust yourself off, pick yourself back up, hit the felt, and try not to dwell too much on it. You just can't beat dumb luck. Cool

Just FYI when you got your chips in it was:

KQ 64.6%(win)
5 2 34.7%(win)
TIE: 0.7%(tie)

So roughly you're a 65% favourite.. That's basically a race.. try and avoid going allin like this if you can pre-flop.. Not that it would matter much - because when you see 3JK rainbow vs a donk calling/shoving any 2 cards you're probably getting it in anyway.. But generally a better strategy here might be:

Knowing the donkey will re-raise allin any person who raises pre - maybe just limp in and then call the donkeys raise and it might no be allin then and you can see the flop that way and then you can either fold or get your chips in with a much better idea of your hand equity.

Thats about right though, the full tilt freerolls are always full of loose agressive players but no one can do anything about it, only thing to do is fold and let someone else get knocked out by them.
