the funny thing is: even if those pages were rigged, for what reason it might be exactly you loosing ? That´s something i wanna find out.

There's cheating on every site. However, I read the article you posted (which btw is against BRM rules) - and it's a about somebody who wrote a BOT for FTP who was later busted by FTPs pattern matching software and had the account suspended..

Really not sure what your point is. There are literally millions of people playing online poker. Of fucking course there's people cheating - here's a few classic examples of types of cheating

A)Using banned programs (data mining etc)
B) Using BOTs
C) Collusion

3. you cant beat something that knows the answer

Care to elaborate on this ??

I sometimes see complete morons who sometimes think bots somehow know your cards, or the cards to come.. Is this what you're getting at ??

ahh, i finally get a way how those pokersites are really making money of beeing rigged and against you. maybe you are not really playing against real other users but against a fullring of bots that on the long term will win anyway. than it would really make sense why they let you loose. because they are all the 5 or 8 or 9 other players !

LOL Big Smile
Knew there would be a good answer from you in here.
Can´t believe peole are still posting this "cr.p".

Of, course people cheat, but the point is that sites aren´t "rigged", or they wouldn´t survive for very long.
I once spent 5 days researching the whole thing to get a straight answer for myself, maybe more than a year ago. I also researched the whole "bot" thing, the "software rewards agressive play to make more rake" thing, etc, etc. .There are so many ways to think it´s all rigged, it´s amazing.
Came across quite a few lenghthy, complex, and definitive articles that prove the sites do not rig their software. And just plain can´t for so many reasons.
I kind of refuse to write a serious post about why they are not, but sometimes I hesitate...
Maybe I should, just so I can post a link in every one of these ridiculous half-a**ed "proof" articles.
I just kind of figure people who post this stuff will never read the whole thing, or they would have looked all this stuff up themselves.

No? Blink

Love the last quote...
Do people forget that the most complex computer ever devised could not consistently beat the brain of one man?
I´m talking about Chess, of course, and Kasparov.
And chess is a game with NO luck at all! Every move could possibly be calculated...but no, the guy beat the machine. Big Smile
I wish people would use their own brain before posting this stuff... jeezzz!...

Ha ha, you guys were right when you said things tend to go down hill on the weekend. I wish Tony never had to sleep (Just kidding I know you deserve your time off too, it must be exhausting patroling the form for fools).

OP, good luck on your future endeavors, you'll need it.

thats not quite true islandjack. i woud have to google to be 100% certain, but i think since kasparov they all lost like 6-1 to a computer lol...in games where you only have a few seconds for each move, they do have no chance at all.
i think a well programed pokerbot would beat the poker pros aswell like they do in chess - at least in pot/fixedlimit in the long run. our brain capacity just cant keep up with the machines.
anyways i doubt that a single player is einstein and has the means and knowledge to program such a bot on his own Big Smile

I think in fixed limit a well programmed bot would probably be pretty unbeatable. However, I think in NLHE it would be extremely difficult to program a bot that could consistently defeat a creative poker pro.

OMFG ! That is the worst. I know the feeling. I actually now always ctr-c (copy) all of my large posts on any forum before submitting, I've had it happen so many times now, it's a good cautious approach.

ALSO - LOL - your internet is rigged - ROOOOGGGGGED!!! Aww crap!

There are some who have IP changers, and they use them strictly for poker sites. They set up 5-6 computers and sit them all at the same table. Guaranteed to win. I have read multiple articles about this, and it does happen. Why I won't spend too much time on ring games.
I have, and always will play MTT's. For the money, it's the best payout. Takes real strategy to out play thousands of people, and win...
