Just monitoring some of the games on Ft and PS which normally fill up within 2 minutes. It's going on 20 minutes and the games are still not full. I believe there will be a resolution to this very quick or there will be big changes in the electronic poker world without U.S. Players. Example; Midnight Madness generally full within 2 minutes max. Still not full. Sorry to say this, but U.S. government won't only ruin U.S. poker playing, long term will affect entire electronic poker world. I sincerely hope I'm wrong or this is resolved quickly! Good Luck All!

I can't even sign in
Seems to be there are more fish in the sea ... Within 3 hours of where I live (Long Island, NY) there's about 10 casino's with decent card rooms. I went to two today and have friends that played at the others ... definitely a turn out out of 'locked out online players' mopping about the current situation ... between still being in a bit of shock and the slower play at a live table they are not happy campers. Additionally there was a lot of interest in "Do you know where there are nay homes games" (Which if involves $ is also illegal here)
While I only played online to enhance my live games I still feel a bit of an emotional let down when I try to sign in and can't ...

Lauren, I don't hardly see anyone here in BRM as well and it doesn't seem like their points system is properly functioning although the administrator assured us that it was. I didn't pay any attention to the BRM points until I seen a couple threads reflecting controversy which is a small issue compared to the electronic poker world being shocked. This is totally shocking to see such slow play on FT and PS. I haven't logged off since I got on early today due to I'm afraid I won't be able to get back on. Only thing I can play are some of the $150 freerolls which normally filled up in minutes, now not even close in some cases. Good Luck to All!

That comes to no surprise. If players from the US, who make up 50% of the player base, can't access the games, it is only to be expected that those tourneys fill up slowly.
I just downloaded the .Net version b/cause the .com version of FTP doesn't work anymore. I had to e=mail support to find out if my account bonus, tickets, and balance will be transfered. I can only play, play money games. I can't access the BRM FR's or any cash games. Hope they sort this out soon

The .net software is for playmoney games only. So it is no surprise that you can't join any real money games or tourneys.

It's a surprise to me, I have had no problems logging into FTP. Not sure why other Canadians are having trouble. The FBI has no juristiction here. or anywhere's else in the world. I dare the FBI to cross the border and come after us Canadians. We have no government wanting a piece of the online pie. Hell, we don't even have gambling taxes here for anything. There is no real reason for other Canadians not to be able to sign in to FTP. If I can login and play, you all should be able to as well. The actions by the FBI has no effect on us. Keep trying....

i doubt it will be resolved soon first they are charging them for fraud, money laundering and stuff, and then will say ok lets make a deal gives us a cut and will drop the charges. If you are gonna pay us who cares if you are cheating or laundering money. lol But then again its the government of the US we are talking about which when it comes to money and power they dont give a s**t.
