First year in many where I can't partake in the enjoyment of what 4/20 represents due to my job. Have to be in early, meet with customers and our company always implements a urinalysis within a couple days from this date. Can't risk it! Sounds great but what is 4/20 exactly? We don't have that over here in the Netherlands, but if it is what i think it is, than over here its 4/20 every day Like 4/20 for 24/7

heard a lot about it but still dont know exactly what it is?? just another day to me actually yesterday was better than today all anybody wanted to do today was smoke dope so it was a euphoric day at best
The term was allegedly coined by a group of teenagers in San Rafael, California in 1971. Calling themselves the Waldos, because "their chosen hang-out spot was a wall outside the school," the group first used the term in connection to a fall 1971 plan to search for an abandoned cannabis crop that they had learned about. The Waldos designated the Louis Pasteur statue on the grounds of San Rafael High School as their meeting place, and 4:20 p.m. as their meeting time. The Waldos referred to this plan with the phrase "4:20 Louis". Multiple failed attempts to find the crop eventually shortened their phrase to simply "4:20", which ultimately evolved into a codeword the teens used to mean pot-smoking in general.
High Times Creative Director Steven Hager was the first person to track down the Waldos and publish their account of the origins of the term. Hager wrote "Are You Stoner Smart or Stoner Stupid?" (October 1998) in which he called for 4:20 p.m. to be the socially accepted hour of the day to consume cannabis. "I believe 420 is a ritualization of cannabis use that holds deep meaning for our subculture," wrote Hager. "It also points us in a direction for the responsible use of cannabis."
As for the actual day theres endless theories god only knows. I still say it coins from the cop term which is 4 20 "people smoking pot"

all have his favourite time in the year its them birthday very offten was but sometimes we also have the lucky day in the year then every year this day was something special i ll also have the day off my favorite it was 11.30 not my birtday but the best day off all the year was for me good luck and have fun

Thx for a very nice story never heard it Now i understand it, but does that mean that u guys can smoke legally for one day on 4/20? Sounds nice, especially when its forbidden the rest of the year, the better and more fun it is. Over hear its 4/20 24/7 Hope u guys had a great day
