There are poker sits out there that have been ripping off players out of millions thats why the FBI have been sniffing around several poker sites coz some people had hacking software that could see youre hole cards so its true poker is fixd in some poker sites
Oh yeah does anyone know hats happend to, REALDEALPOKER thats a site i had money on won lots and then there closing down for refurbishments then never to be seen again ?? pls help if you know anything

Did you have any specific sites in mind? If you had any concrete sources it would be nice to review, just in case I'm at one of those sites. Or was that more of an opinion thing?
Have never heard of Real Deal so I can't help you there but I hope you get your money back.

Hi there im talking about UB & pstars & fulltilt i was playng when it all happend the next thing you know there was an FBI badge at there .com sites didnt know excactly what happend just that they were looking at there accounts. Then i read that they had been hacking going on at certian sites such as Ub and millions was stolen off one player not anymore tho yet there are some suspect things going on that ive seen LIKE at the heads up cash $25-50 tables theres players there but one on every table waiting for some one why dont they just play each other and there there!! i wached one of them take $800 off some one. Do you have any info on yrself on what ive said

They were all shut down for other reasons and it was only the USA that was effected because of a bill signed back in 2006 called UIGEA. That had nothing to do with ripping players off out of their money. But you seemed to know nothing of that so do some research before you speak. And if someone had software to see hole cards do you think they share that with anybody if they did they be nuts. There is no such software out there to see hole cards that's all a scam. And that poker site your speaking of I never heard of you have to stick with credible poker sites so whether they are fixing things up or vanished I haven't a clue but I'm always weary of poker sites that don't list a phone number for support.

The Poker Stars and Full Tilt was not related to rigging but to the American government cracking down on online gambling. They're tired of not getting their share of gambling revenue.
As for Ultimate Bet I heard about that, as far as I know the Khanawake Gaming Commission forced them to pay out quite a bit to their players.

The next thing you know ? The UB/AP scandal was like 5 years ago.
And it wasn't UB/AP the ripped players off, it was people who had been contracted to work on the site, who then took over dormant accounts and used another PC to login with the super user accounts and see hole cards. Let me re-iterate - it was INDIVIDUALS who stole were cheating people and it wasn't through any "rigged" software - they were cheating.
The reason there was such a scandal was because UB/AP tried to cover it up and overall just handled the whole situation really badly.
This has absolutely nothing to do with the current FBI action and in no way supports any rigged RNG theories.

There never was speculations that Pokerstars or Full Tilt Poker had super users that could see your hole cards, that was on ultimate bet if i remember clearly. As stated above the current FBI investigation it's not about the fact that the poker platforms steal from the players but the sites sisn't pay taxes to the US governament. As for the hole cards deal i know a guy did a video that posted on youtube about pokerstars saying he sales a software that was able to hack the Pokerstars software so you could see your opponents hole cards, he asked 10 dollars or so for that software. There were enough people to pay for it. How on earth you could believe that someone that has this software would share it with anyoone.... On ultimate bet those people played from the ultimate bet headquarters so they had direct acces to the ub software and hardware, otherwise from a distant pc it's impossible to see your opponents hole cards.

I believe your quite correct in saying that anyone who has a program that allows them to see opposing players hold cards would be nutz to share that information, I don't know that it is impossible or would even be that difficult to develop. I worked in telephony and data communication for 40 years and have some knowledge of how it can be done. Many people are aware of how the Internet works and how information is received from the massive data that is streaming on it. When you surf the Internet you're sending requests to servers that are identified by their specific IP address. Your request has your IP address attached which the server sends with its response. Your computer is like a spider monitoring the web and reacts like a combination lock when a packet containing your IP is detected. It responds by excepting that data while ignoring all packets with different IP addresses. The servers used by online gambling site use your IP address to sent data to your computer. Their software reacts to reveal your hold cards to you and so on.
Now if I know your IP address ( which I can get if you say... log onto my web site,... respond to my email,...post in forums,...etc. I only need to know what poker sites your using and your screen name then and I can monitor the data that is streaming to that IP address. Now I can dissect my on uploaded version of the site files and decipher it to find the file names associated with each card image in say C:/ all users/programs/"XXX"poker/ bla/bla/images. Wallah, when those file names are sent to your IP address I can see your hold cards. Get the picture.
Someone with deep pockets could take it a step further and tap the T1, and fiber lines at their source and mine all the information coming off the gambling sites servers which would give them all that information when anyone logs on and plays.
