Changes to the event SCOOP PokerStars  0
PokerStars recently announced changes in its next event, the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP).

The changes are due to SCOOP largely to recent allegations that occur in the United States last week and that generated some controversy in the world of online poker.

This edition of the tournament start SCOOP has already scheduled for next May 8.

However, PokerStars has revealed that the total premium would go from the previously announced $ 45 million, divided into 38 events for $ 25 million. This lowering of the premium shall be due to lack of players from America.

The site also announced that the schedule would change. The event will start SCOOP three hours before to better fit with European time. The first event will be a SCOOP no-limit hold'em tournament with buy-ins $ 22, $ 215 and $ 2,100.

The series will continue through May 22 with no-limit hold'em main event as. This promises a guaranteed grand prize of 5 million dollars. The buy-in will be at the high level of $ 10.300.

At PokerStars you could read a statement that due to recent events in the U.S., some changes were made to SCOOP but that this would not affect the essence of the tournament.

In one of the passages read thus: "Apart from the changes referred to SCOOP and small changes in three tournaments Tuesday night, the SCOOP is still the same tournament in which expected. Moreover, those included are beautiful watches that we assign to all champions. "

Apart from these changes, the event remains the same SCOOP, SCOOP and the promotion Leaderboard where the player will be crowned Series and where they will announced the prizes for the top finishers.

This is old news, i think the very same news was posted one or two weeks ago if i remember correctly. I doubt they did new changes to the prize pool after their first announcement since they adjust he prize pool considering the new development frum United States.
Still, as i stated before it was clear the balack friday and the banning of all united states citizens to play real money poker on pokerstars and full tilt poker would change a lot in the structure of prizes of their already announced poker events like scoop from pokerstars and miniftops and ftops from full tilt poker(that poker event was already modified due to new circumstances). I personally think both pokerstars and full tilt poker are out of the woods now considering they offer so many specials to their members already.
