To all those that say he should be given the money, what if he used that money to play you heads up and took every cent of your bankroll, only for you to find out you lost it to someone who shouldn't even have been playing ?

What if it wasn't really a kid but Phil Ivey pretending to be a kid ? Would that be acceptable ?

Cheating is cheating, regardless, and the kid shouldn't have been at the table. He would no doubt have beaten players who were entitled to play and knocked them out, therefore depriving genuine players of their chance to win that money.

Pokerstars are 100% right. He should have the money taken from him, and never be let loose on a poker site again.

If he'll play when he knows he's not supposed to then you can bet he'll try other forms of cheating, such as collusion, using bots etx..

I don't really get your logical conclusion ... ??

He wasn't found cheating - he was in violation of the T&C - ie; underage gambling. That isn't the same thing is cheating - not in any sense : legal, technically or even morally.

I agree he shouldn't get the money by the way. I just don't follow your logic.

------------
Are underage drinkers going to cheat later in life at other things also ? Like I really don't get what you mean ?? Because he gambled underage - he is likely to cheat later in life ?
