Successfull strategy  0
my new strategy since February:
I made several deposits on CD Poker until that February, just playing with it, no winnings...
Now I have a new strategy which is really successfull: I finish playing after winning AND also loosing 50$ per day.
The result is, that I won 1250$ in cash games Holdem NL (Blinds 0,25/0,50) in one month.
If someone else does the same, please let me know, if you are also successfull by doing it.
I wish you all the best hands, inspite of playing at my tables... Big Smile

30*50 = 1500.

Hmm, that means do did pretty well! You won 27 days (27*50=1350) and lost about 2 days (2*50=100). 1350-100=1250.

Did you realy win that much? I know alot of people have trouble stopping when they are on a winning/losing streak.

Tom, that really is an effective strategy. I know many people who have daily goals, anywhere from $10 - $10,000. When I first started online poker, I would try for $100 profit or $50 loss per day. I did very well for myself. As Avalonn said, the hard part is stopping after winning, but if you follow your goals and at least stop after you total loss max has been reached for that day, maybe it is not so bad losing once in a while... makes you feel human sometimes!

It is true. The only different was, that I had some days on which I won more than 50$ (I always play 6 players table and leave until I amm BB, so that I won several days more than 100$). I had also some days, where I won 50$ in the morning, and 50$ in the evening. I know, that I was breaking my own rules, but the most important thing on it is, to LEAVE after loosing your daily maximum.
But for all strategys, I think, the most important thing is the table choice and the players which are on it...I think, I choosed the right tables last month.
This month it is really harder...just +150$ since 1st March.

For new players at CD Poker: use bonus code PE100 to get a direct(!!!) bonus added directly to your bankroll of 20$ after depositing min. 50$ !!!

Wish you all good hands.

Yes, you see, this is the biggest challenge. Normally when we do well for a long period of time, we often set goals based on our "best" results, and that is something very hard to maintain. We have to consider months where the profit is at max around 60%, which is still good. Otherwise, people will TILT trying to achieve the same great results.

True fodz i dont do 2:1 calculation for win/lose i use 3:1. This way you will stop sooner and have one extra day of losing before you go into negative streak. BUT hardest thing is keeping strict to those rules. I go around my own rules by playing on different poker room playing the same way. Or if that doesnt help then i actually stop and go play some normal game, watch a movie or something just to forget it.

i have never tried but i dont see why leaving at x amount would be truly effective, if you are truly dominating the table why get up and leave because you have won x amount, or even more why leave after a bad beat or two, as long as i feel on top of my game and that being on top of my game i am better than everyone else at the table then i will stay

I agree SCD, but you are only "on top of the game" until you lose, right? So, some people decide to leave the table earlier to guarantee a % of the winnings. I know it is very hard to do, leaving a table when you are on top, dominating, but some times it´s better to have 1 bird in hand then 2 flying, some might say!

My strategy is just to play until I start playing bad or start losing...If I'm winning I don't stop until I start losing Smile

That is another way but it is harder to get up if you get some bad beat then while your feeling ok. At least for me. Yes i do get up sometimes when i feel that im just floating with same amount for some time. But in most cases i dont fall at all, its just those tilts that gets me.
