UK players, FTP and Moneybookers  0
I was searhing the internet yesterday for potential new news about the situation of moneybookers and full titl poker, espcially withdrawals.
As you all know after the black friday all transactions between full tilt poker and payment procesors slowed down significantly compared to situation before the black friday. To be more specific withdrawal methods like check, bank account, visa electron and even netteler are still available on full tilt poker but you get majopr delays than you used to have before. For examplre a netteler transaction that lasted a day max before the black friday now it can last up to two weeks till in completed.
Moneybookers is still not allowed for withdrawing money, but yesterday i've read on couple of forums tht players that are located in United Kingdom and Ireland are already allowed to withdraw money from their Full Tilt Poker account using Moneybookers!
Now i would like for couple of our UK and Ireland mobsters to confirm this, i mean you just need to go to your full tilt poker account and see if moneybooker is a valid option to withdraw.
As you probably know from many e-wallets are the only way to withdraw or deposit money to their poker accounts...

...as for other countries withdrawal with Moneybookers is still unavailable.

Last week when I couldn't make any withdrawal into my MB account, then I ordered to withdraw a few hundreds $$$ into my bank account (local bank transfer)... and was very surprised as the money arrived there within 2 days... Cool

So this is true after all. I know, moneybookers is also not available for my account either and it really sucks. Still i saw that local bank transfer too but i would prefer not to use a my personal bank account in any transaction with a poker platform, i think you can easily understand why...
Still, considering that United Kingdom and Ireland already can use Moneybookers to deposit/withdraw in thei full tilt poker accounts i think it's only a matter of weeks or couple of months until the rest of the countries can do the same.
By the way, does anyone know why exactly they suspended Moneybookers as a withdrawal method??
Anyway, daraspol thanks for the heads up, if there will be a stringent need for money i would definately use the local bank tranfer option. Blink

Yeah... I know what u mean... but well... I don't want to hold bigger $$$ bankroll on my FTP account than bankroll which I need to play, therefore when I rack up some hundreds $$$ surplus I prefer to cash it out straight away... just in any case Cool

On my bank account statement this transfer is from: "ENVOY SERVISES LTD client operating account". I don't think it could be... suspected business, do you...? Big Smile

BTW: Any feedback from UK/Ireland users as for Moneybookers...?

I can withdraw with my moneybookers account, and I do not have any problems withdrawing money with my E-wallet, maybe it was a tech problem that day.

Hmmm not completly true, the Neteller part i mean. I made a withdrawel just
after black friday trough neteller from FT and it took 9 days instead of normally
always within 1 minute! But after that first withdrawel i allready made 3 other
withdrawels, all Neteller, and they all took only a couple of hours!
So i would say that the FT/Neteller situation is pretty much under control Cool

JazzyJeff, thats true, i was only reffering to the situations right after the black friday, glad to hear everything is back to normal right now. Unfortunately i don't like neteller too much because they have some huge withdraw fees. For example on any wihdraw they take for my country at least a fix tax od 6 dollars(2.5 dollars on moneybookers) and also a 3% conversion fee(1.9% on moneybookers).
The only advantage is that the card is for free compared to the 14 dollars per year moneybookers charge for their mastercard. Plus you need to love the moneybooers support they answer within hours and they are always willing to help.
Right before the black friday, i think on monday of the same week i made a withdrawal with moneybookers from ftp and almost after 1 or two minutes i got the confirmation email on my iphone. And since i have an atm near my house i almost had instant acces to the money in the ftp account Smile
GIO, where are you located(country)??

That's strange Macubaas, in my country the only fee i have is when i withdraw
with my neteller mastercard. It's 4 euro per withdrawel but at least i have an ATM-card
for my neteller account, i don't have to transfer to my own bankaccount first and so i
always have instant access to my pokermoney. I thought moneybookers does not
have a atm-card? Apparently now they do so moneybookers sound ok.

Btw Gio is from Suriname, in the north of South-America. I"m also from Suriname,
at least my parents are but i grew-up in the Netherlands. Cool

Yes, it's true, i also have the MOneybookers mastercard, it's basically similar to the one neteller use but the fees are a bit lower. Whn making a withdrawal with my moneybookers mastercard i pay a fix tax of 1.8 euros or 2.5 dollars. For neteller the tax is the same as in Netherlands then, it's 4 euros or 6 dollars.
Since you don't pay a currency conversion tax it seems you play on poker sites on euros too, right? Considering that and the fact that your neteller account is in euros you don't need to pay a currency convetion fee indeed. I only pay on full tilt on dollars, i recently changed the currency of my moneybooker account in USD too, so i only the fix pay on withdrawal.
Suriname is under british control? FTP said only UK and Ireland can withdraw using Moneybookers Confused
