Ok fellow Bankrollmob My business is all but gone I can't really get a new job so I am calling myself retired (limited funds and want to goto South Africa to live my days out). I know this game pretty well so I am going to buy in next week 1k at one of the sites play 20 pound table till I get to 1600 then goto 50 pound table. Please wish me luck and if you see me at tables feel free to donate as I need to keep my dream alive.

Well in a way I am joking but I am going to have a go at it, I don't have enough funds to live in South Africa and my business won't support me any longer so to risk 1k at this is a risk I am willing to take but yes I as a realist its a joke but as a dream it's alive lol.

I do web develepment (I am not sure if I am allowed to mention the company so I won't till I am sure) but right now work is poor. I plan to sell me car and use that for a stake to play. I know its a big gamble but my senses tell me I can make it work.

How much is your car worth and how big will your bankroll be ? I hate to say it but if you put ALL your money on the table you will lose. Scared money never doubles .

It will be a hard job that you will have in hands, but you should look at him like one looks at the job. Some dont like what they do for living, but its what gives them money to survive, to feed them and their families, so one should feel privileged for having a job. For those who doesnt and think about radical strategies to get the needed money, i can only wish luck. We all know its difficult, and its turns even harder if you go to the tables thinking about the money in question. Try not to bet "your life" on the tables. Yesterday things weren't running very well at the $2 SnG tables i play and suddenly, in a tilt situation, i entered a $5 to try to recover my loss faster. It only became worst: i started with €15 and ended up with €9, thinking "what did i just did?". Relax, keep your word till the end, and click the "off" button before registering for a higher buy-in tourney!

WOW that a bit extreme selling your car to play poker, there no real rush is there just play to your pocket , never sell your goods to play poker when you starting sell things to feed your habit i think you have a problem, why not start low and then build it up ??? deposit afew £100 or what you can afford without selling things first and see what you can do with it,use bankroll management and see how far you can move up, call this a trail run and if your good enough there will be no need to sell your car many players have made a few bucks into 1k anyway its your car and you can do what you feel is right i wish you good luck in what ever you do and see you soon for more posts

I won't be going for a double up I plan to buy in 1k and play the 20 pound tables till I reach at least 1700 pound then move to 50 pound table, I plan to play the points multiplier so I get my rake back to I don't want variace to get me. My only regret is I have to do it a william hill and I had that account before bankrollmob so I can't get the points here to. But I will invest a bit in 24 hour poker to get that to.

Yes I will be getting rake, I don't know if your aware of how william hill work but they do a points multiplier play 10 seats 1k buy in winner gets 11k and the points are worth money and can buy you in points tornys. More points you get more they are worth 100k in points is 100 dollars 750 k is worth 1k in dollars plus all the other benifits. So it's best way I know of getting rake back and more.

its just donky...didnt you hear about the guy who was sellin his car his house and maybe his wife? he went to vegas an bets everythin on the roulette table. he doubled his money and 12 months later he was broke and shot himself.
