I was thinking to start playing the qualifiers for summer million in PP,(used to be monthly million) where you qualify for the summer million special and I realised they have changed that too. Before it was giving tickets to the 20 first places and now they have changed it to only 3 first places. So bottom line i think its gonna be a waste of time chasing a free entry (today's special had about 1120 players the moment i checked)

hummmm? the monthly million was the first or last sunday of every month...so in the spring/winter/fall will it be spring million winter million and fall million? shouldnt break what aint broken

yeah 3 places outa 1120 is a waste of time unless you get lucky and win it. but if you are gonna play there anyway and 1 more table wont hurt then definitely worth a try

If it was only this qualifier it wouldnt hurt to play. But in order to participate in the above tourney you need to qualify in another one which gives 10 tickets to a tourney with entries from 700-1k. So keep trying for free for the millions doesnt worth it any more

Well, if you have the time and you are used to play tournaments why don't take a hit at it, there is always place for another table opened on your computer
Still, other guys already said this, on this type of large competitions you also need a lot of luck, not only poker skills, of course, probably 70% you need poker skills considering it's a tournament first of all, but you also need alot of luck, especially at beginning when every player tries to build a larger stack
If you have the time and patience give it a shot, it can't hurt, in the worst case scenario you get busted after couple of hands, but you could also have luck Keep us posted and good luck at the tables!

Well, sometimes I play these first step qualifier tourneys, if I have time and no other important tables on. I guess I managed 3 times to place under the first 10 and won a ticket for the weekly special qualifier, but then didn´t made it. But who knows, maybe one day it will happen...

yea thats the thing. we first need to qualify in the first 10 from the country related tournies, and then you need to play in the weekly special. They used to give 20 tickets in the Special tourney which made it more easy to get. Now they give only 3 tickets. So you need to hit in the first 10 places then in the first 3 and then finishing in the money. Well i would like of course to be able and do that, but im not that lucky
