It would be very, very bad for full tilt poker, this is what i can assure you, i mean they need to calm down first and sort all things out before reopening the site again
Right now every non us poker player that ha real money on their full tilt poker account will hit the cash withdrawal button once the site is up and running again, this is a certain thing, and frankly this is what i want to do too, maybe i;ll leave 20 or 30 dollars just to play rush for fun, but thats it....
I think it's best to finish the sale papers first and for the them to come with a new image and promotions and of course to pay the us players

hmm when they have already scheduled a hearing, doesnt make much sense reinstating the license just because they got new investors. its just one of the many rumors till it gets confirmed by fulltilt/ gaming commission.

I definitely can't comment on the legitimacy of that article but I will say this, I reckoned it would be a good thing as I think them being shut down is a bad omen, however I agree with Macuubaas there that they should probably wait and come back strong cause I know I I had money there I'd being pulling it out immediately to.
LMAFO come guys even if full tilt was up and running tomorra, would you go back playing!!!! i think all the players would withdrawl all of there money and never play there again, the shiit what the usa players went through and now every1 else, the long wait for there money, they have lost every1s respect now, full tilt has given online poker a bad name simple

as soon as full tilt comes back, im withdrawing my 1 cent i got on that ish lmao but i think they will come back once they find investors to basically cover them a whole ton of cash to pay out the players and enough to keep them supported until they can start pulling in decent rake
dont expect them to come back though, im predicting a lot of people are going to jail and everyones losing whatever money they had on there
Posted by Flippedchips: lol you know people will flood back there even after all the crap i mean where else can you get them avatars
lol you changed your tune dozn you found a winning streak on stars
yeah i found a winning streak in my cash games on stars now, but no good at the mtts , that why i only play the $1 tourneys there, i was good at the cash and tourneys at full tilt even better on ipoker network, but what full tilt have done is very wrong, at least stars have payed the usa player that whys they get my respect and custome compared to full tilt
make me laugh that i can go on a cash table with $25/$100 to play with, but wont risk more than $1 in mtt there , just need to build up my confidence, due to the suckouts ive had , amount of time it takes to the ft too many players etc is a put off if it was ipoker i would be playing $10 to $20 mtt no problem,

The fields will be tiny, I´ll be back.
Playing the Double Deuce with 68 runners should be a blast, and profitable. If I can get the money out again.
I will use up my Step Tickets this time, clear my Rush ticket, "Rush" to clear my bonuses (various), and only keep $50 in my account. I need more, I´ll "one-click deposit".
My take on the thing.
PS: those $50 is what started my Poker "career" thanks to the BRM No Deposit Bonus. So they can have it if they close down again, at least I´ll have the rest back.

Indeed, well I expect them to be, but I do actually see lots of support for FT, also and this is what im waiting for....FISH FRENZY...you need $50 to cash out and some players wont have that and donk off the last of their roll, also people cashing out most and leavin a little will end up playing poor poker (IMO) And I also expect some nice welcome back bonus..I do think they might be up at the weekend, wich is perfect for a days fishing.

I really doubt they will be back by Friday while I would like it to They will have to short out the cash problem first and then reopening even if they get their license back. Whats the point reopening and not have money to pay the massive cash out request they will get

That's the point though, isn't it - if we can get out money out. The minute FT comes back online there will be an avalanche of cash out requests that will be enough to bring even the most resilient server down.
Discussions between Full Tilt Poker and an anonymous European group over potential investment in the indicted operator are on schedule, with the company’s legal representatives suggesting a deal could be “on the table by the end of next week.”
Jeff Ifrah, a lawyer representing Full Tilt, is hopeful that the terms of the investment, first reported by this site last week, can clear the way for a potential settlement with the United States Department of Justice (DoJ).
If completed, the proposed deal is expected to pave the way for the repayment of American players, and Full Tilt’s lawyers are hopeful of this also bringing about the withdrawal of the class action suit brought against the company last week.
Ifrah, one of several attorneys representing the company - whose founders were indicted by the DoJ in April - told eGaming Review: “My hope is as the company formalises a deal with the European investors the terms include paying back the players, and we’d like to think this will help take care of the class action suit and any copycat suits on the table.”
“Part of the deal with [the investors] will hopefully be a settlement of the DoJ case - [they have] met with Alderney and France already and will be meeting with the DoJ,” he added.
He would not divulge the identity of the investors, but confirmed that they are from the financial sector and not, as has been speculated elsewhere, another egaming company.
“They are not one of our competitors,” he explained, “and to my knowledge it’s their first step into the egaming sector.”
Ifrah told eGaming Review that he is set to meet with a senior member of the investment group, who he confirms “Has been on track with regards to his timetable so far.”
Meanwhile, he also moved to quash speculation on various internet sites that Ray Bitar had been voted out as the company’s chief executive.
“We can completely deny the reports that Ray Bitar is no longer CEO. In fact that [rumour] really ruined his day yesterday. It doesn’t help anyone for sites to be reporting news that’s not true,” he said.
Full Tilt is also in continued discussions with the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, although the island’s director of ecommerce development has dismissed reports that the operator’s licence - suspended pending a hearing later this month - could be restored as soon as tomorrow.
Robin le Prevost said: “I can confirm that [that speculation] is tosh. Obviously people are interested in seeing if they can buy Full Tilt and that is probably true.”
