Interessting data i found on another site. A bit more than half of the players at Full Tilt have moved elsewhere, with Pokerstars the biggest winner in absolute numbers, while Party and smaller sites like Everest and Cake are the biggest winners in percentage.

now when fulltilt comes back most of them just gonna withdraw their money from fulltilt and shift their rolls to new sites. surprising to see cake get more players after all that delay in cashouts

Well for sure everybody who loves to play poker tries to find a new poker home if one is able to. Stars and Party are the big winners of this situation. For me, I had 2 Pokeraccounts where I played: FT and Party. So atm Iam just playing on Party and wait what happens with FT. Fortunately my bigger BR is on Party and on FT I never cashed in.
yep pokerstars have got most of the customers no surprise there, and thats where am playing at, thought ipoker network would of a mention in the list.................. traffic there at peak times is around 22k pokerstars is around 300k now

All poker sites knew the advanteges of making good campaigns and nice publicity at this time, because they would have to choose from the market offer. Most known and biggest poker rooms would always capt some of the players without doing a thing, but little rooms could and got some profit with all this move. Its nice to know that, just hope oldest players from some rooms can also get advantage of good promos!

Monday i made my first deposit on pokerstars, and yes, i was a full tilt poker player, regular at NL10 rush sh to be more precise. I had to choose pokerstars since it has the best software after full tilt poker
Now i only play pot limit omaha on pokerstars since there are many unexperienced players there, especially in weekends, but i'm sure in time other more experienced players from full tilt will join the action
And yes, your info must be really precise, pokerstars really exploded, i mean there are around 250.000 players online most of the time, and once i've actually saw a bit over 300.000 players online which is sick

I had no idea the gap was so big, ipoker has so many and well known poker houses like titan, william hill, mansion and so on. And where does Party Poker stays at this rank ?

It was expected that all the players will move on especially those that Full Tilt was their main poker client. And where else most of them could turn to than Poker Stars. I can see the increas in traffic in Cake Poker

After Full Tilt was out, Party moved to the number two spot. Slightly ahead of Ipoker, but far far behind Pokerstars.
Thks, is good to know.
But may I ask what makes Pokerstars so better than the others ? I've opened an account there about 2 years ago, played some freerolls and I wasn't amazed, I've never seen a non deposit bonus or big promotions there.

pokerstars can make you a millionaire for only a couple dollars , unlike some sites tourneys like the sunday millions ect has great bonus scheme to loyale players reload bonuses etc, plenty of fish easy money to the above aveage player to be won, big traffic numbers over 300k, the place to be if you know your poker but dont get me wrong that river can be crule at times

They have a good software, very good support and the largest player pool. You will always find a game, even if you don't play Hold'em. So they don't need to give out huge bonuses to attract players.

Very true, but after black friday they didn't get these numbers, only after full tilt poker was down for good, and i'm sure we'll even see bigger numbers since i noticed pokerstars already paid more tv pub to advertise their site online and on tv
And yes, i aslo agree with was posted above, pokerstars have indeed a very good vip system although they don't offer weekly rakeback like full tilt poker did
Still, if you are an active player you can get a lot of bonuses, plus there are alot of sattelites for pokerstars big tourneys like the ones from sunday, so with a few bucks you can get a big entry on a tournament like that

Full Tilt was my first poker site. I played for one year but frankly the software is down. Nowadays is easy gain more "clients" if you have the right ad.

My adventure on pokerstars goes pretty well, i actually managed to book a good profit and i also earned the first 10 dollars of from the first deposit bonus
If everything goes well and i win the vpp fast enough i'm also tempted to deposit even more up to 600 dollars since those are free moneys that i can clear pretty fast. And yes i only play at 4 tables at once...
But i'm still missing rush poker, that was the most profitable poker game for me and i really hope i'll be able to play it again one day
