I got an email from Bodog last night advising me that I have qualified for the "King of the Felt" $1.5K freeroll on Saturday and, sure enough, when I checked there was a ticket for this in my account.
Unfortunately it was set to expire a few days after and I will be away at the time of the freeroll so I emailed support and asked if they could extend the expiry to the second week in August.
Not only did they confirm that they would do this (as an exception) but they replied within an hour.

not many sites would do that, most of them will just send automated emails like cake. definitely good support is important to keep players happy and will make them more popular in future. gl in ur tournament

Thats really a A support they have over there it seems, many friends made they first deposit there and say that they also really like the poker platform and it's also pretty profitable
Still, i don't know how the poker traffic is but if they have a good software and good promotions i also might be tempted to make a deposit there and start playing, especially if there is plenty of fish there
And yes, not many poker platforms out there would be willing to do that for thei customers, so it's indeed a really big plus for the bodog support Keep us updated on your evolution on the freeroll then

Well, this really looks like a nice and userfriendly customer support. How is this room in general ? How is the traffic on micros and SnGs ? Can you recommend the poker room ?

The traffic for micro cash games is ok. I don't play many cash games but this is the only site that I have made a profit playing these. SNG traffic is again OK in the evening, there are no long waits for the $2 and $3 games and they are soft enough for me to be able to finish ITM regularly.

I have no reason to think that this would not be the usual support, they have helped me out in the past when I had to deposit from Neteller before I could make a withdrawal. Usually they require that the deposit is fully "used" but they made another exception here and allowed my cash out.
I am by no means a high roller, I started on this site with a no deposit deal and only deposited $10 so that I could tranfer winnings to Neteller. I play no more than 15 micro SnG's a week.

Forget aboud Bodog, come & play on Everest. On SH tables at NL2 you will almost always find 2+ donks/table

Thanks for sharing that with the forum, Jbrooksie. Usually we only hear about the bad customer support. It's good to know, maybe Bodog will be my next site.
Cake does send automated emails about stuff, but whenever I ask a direct question I get an answer back within a few hours. That's with Cake Poker though, not sure if the others on the network share the support team.

Lol, but I heard about Everest that their software is very bad and slow as well as the games are slow. On the other hand there seem to be a lot of fish at the tables. Maybe I will give it a try in future.

Extremely good news for you and, just for "advertising" it in this forum, they are winning more than the usual money they get, they are winning good fame, but they deserve, once they were so nice to you in extending the time of the ticket. I bet that if you get to the money or even win this, they will have even more to win, because you will make more free publicity to them, thats for sure! btw, enjoy your vacations and get ready for the tourney. Good luck and dont forget to come here tell us how did it went!
