I've been checking out some of the different poker rooms, and since Black Friday, most of the good action occurs on EU time (PS and FTP used to be great for me pre-BF).

Greetings Jmjinks, and a warm Canadian welcome to Bank Roll Mob. Agree with you there, the majority of players now are from the EU so that's a good time to schedule your play around.
The only sites I know that don't accept Canadian players are Virgin Poker and Sky Poker. There are lots that won't take our dollar, which is funny given present day circumstances.

Hi jmjinks and welcome to the forum. One hour outside of Montreal on a small apple farm here. I sometimes poke fun at the land of hockey, polar bears and maple syrup but I think it's a great place to live.
Playing at 888 and William Hill (up until a tilt session that is). Looking forward to more posts from you.
I'm in St. Catharines, Ontario (that's like 10 minutes from Niagara Falls for those not familiar with the Garden City).
888 Poker seems to have pretty good action late in the day for me, and I'm starting to see quite a few Canadians on PKR. I sat down at a 10-player SNG at 10PM EST (2AM GMT), and there were 4 other Canadians at the table.
And as it as mahdrof, most of the time when they poke fun of Canada on TV or movies, it is usually due to a Canadian writer on staff. We just can't help ourselves, I guess.

10minutes from niagra falls must be great!. took the wife up there 3 years ago, got engaged in a hotel up there...beautiful place and incredibaly affordable. went up expecting 120$-200$ a night for rooms and ended up paying 40$-60$. walked out of the first 2 as the prices were so low lol
