easy; make a small deposit. Just deposit whatever the minimum amount is. You're 39 in the UK - I'm sure you can manage. You'll be able to take it out again.. Plus - you'll probably get a 1st deposit bonus as well

make a small deposit and you can withdraw your money, min deposit is 25$ with moneybookers but lately people had to wait around 4-6 wks to get their money back, so expect some delay

It depends if it's worth it. Many people see cake dying during the next time (can be weeks, months, whatever),so it depends on the amount and if its worth it risking to lose your deposit for it. And yes,you will have to wait several weeks for it at the least.

Depositing is the best way. I don't know if it is the only way, but its functional for sure. Did you already played (bet) it all? Maybe that can also be a problem. btw I guess that if you transform a no deposit bonus and double or triple it by playing, you will be able to withdraw it without ever deposit? Or not?

Cake's notice for transfers : NOTICE: The transfer feature is intended as a means for players to transfer funds to friends and relatives who do not otherwise have the means of depositing to their own accounts. As funding a poker account has become more difficult due to the rules of certain banks’ and online payment solutions’ we understand that many players may strike up a transfer deal with another player unfamiliar to them through online forums or through the chat function at the tables. If making a transfer through the transfer feature, the onus is solely on the customer to ensure that they are transferring to both the correct account and to a reputable individual as reversing transfers is not always possible. We assume no liability whatsoever for any losses suffered by a player who uses the transfer feature.
You may wanna ask them also if they have play through requirements Min cash out at Cake is 50 USD atm.

Wow, what's up with Cake Poker? I've been playing there for the last 50 days or so and the traffic seems okay. There's at least a few games going on at most blind levels in ring games. I deposited $125 and have earned it upto $340 so I really don't want to lose that because they shut down. But I'm trying to complete an offer there. What should I do?

LOL WTF!? They allow this because people are unable to deposit, but then don't let them withdraw it because they haven't yet deposited ? That's fucked.

That's were you friend comes in handy, for any yanks doing this then they should risk minimum to insure that transfers can go both ways. What cake is simply doing is simply trying to beat the system, I get the feeling in a short while these transactions will be stopped and players will be left with good old chip dump
poker180`s question is so retarded it deserves no reply.

Its true you cant cash out without a deposit at cake like in majority of poker sites. Not only you cant cash out, but min deposit is 25 and min cash out is 50. The only way to go around this is to send the money back to where it came from, but i wouldnt go for it. Moving the money back and forward between 2 seperate accounts they might give them an excuse to confiscate the money. They always can find a reason if they want

If you want to play there the best option is to make a small deposit and first see how it works out, i mean if you like the software and if the tables are profitable for you
Many have a psyhological limit and cannot play at a certain limit if they know that they don't have enough money in the cashier but my advice would be in these hard time to only have 10 buy ins for the limit you are playing on
Other than that everything should be okay, the only problem or disadvantage would be that you lose some of the first deposit bonus...

Awesome thanks for the tips guys. I'm currently half done completing the offer that I started and I only have until the 30th to finish it anyway, so imagine nothing to terrible should go down before then (at least I hope not). And as per your recommendations I will promptly withdraw (although from the sounds of things they won't promptly pay, sigh).
