Hu is the thoughest style in poker and there is alot more luck involved than in any other variant. you have to be real specialist to master HUplay, I once played it on fulltilt and had a good run and in 2 days i was 400$ up but the next day i lost it all because i played too high limits so stupid ! HU is just very very swingy but sometimes its also lots of fun

heads up is alot of skill but also alot of luck of the cards as well i like to think that im very good at heads up one of my strong suits but i also no my weaknesses in playing heads up so thats another plus for me.. just hard to get away from them at times
i dont think that heads up is all about luck, i think that heads up is the poker variant in which luck can play the smallest factor, i say this because in many of my heads up games we dont get to the showdown, this is unlike ring gmaes in which many people get tied to their hands. HU is almost all about bluffing but i dont think that to bluff well you have to be lucky

I love playing HU, simply love it. It really puts your poker skills to the test. I honestly do not have any strategy or tips, as it all depends on your mood, adversary and factors only known at the moment. What I have noticed though, is that many people go all-in very frequently, this is very suicidal in my point of view. Of course the objective of HU is just that, take all of your opponents chips, but remember that risking it all frequently may not be the best solution. Anyway, like I said, there are no best or worst way of playing HU, just past stories and personal experience, so, good luck to all!
i have to agree with you thefodz, players who are too overly aggressive can buy more pots but they only usually have to be caught once. and then its all over rover, its different in tournaments were the chips mean a bit more tho. The strategy i find most unnerving when i come up against it is the constant min betters. In a full ring game min betting is the weakest play you can make but heads up it can really slowly whittle down opponents, they cant just wait for real hands tho because the min better hasnt contributed much to the pot,
