Err let me get this clear? You want to start a Pokerroom? I think that's kinda hard on your own Tongue The software only costs you 10k. But you can't possibly run it on your own.

That is why I want to know what I would need . It is something to think about and It would be good money .

And if you were able to start your own pokeroom how do you expect to compete with the big sites like fulltilt ultimatebet and so on when they are endorsed and advertised by professionals. They spend milllions on getting there room into the spotlight , its immposible to compete.

Ya I see your point but start small and just work on getting bigger little by little . US players don't have but 3-4 Poker Site's to play at . And alot of them the cards fall funny if you know what I mean . Right now I play at some poker room with 2-3 of my friend we site at our net work of 6 computer's and we do not to bad it is kinda of unfair we have 6 sit's out of 10

I must agree that the idea is very fun. But just look at one of those pokersites. It's sooooo much work to fix. It's impossible on your own.

Hey there Zon, welcome to the BankrollMob Forum. Regarding your question, it seems that you probably don´t have financial issues, which is the first and most important step towards having your own poker room. Like Avalonn stated aboved, you will need to invest on the development of your own software, which is believed to be the most expensive part of the investment as a whole. There are several companies who do this, for the right amount, of course.

Bear in mind that there are other aspects such as programming, web design, uploading, hosting accounts, domain name purchasing, marketing, legal concerns etc..

I don´t have any greater details, but it´s a start. If I find something more detailed, I will post it ok? Good luck.

I am a little outside my field of expertise here, but you might try and e-mail someone at www.bmm.com.au regarding this issue. They are involved with "performing an in-depth analysis of the randomness of the output of the RNG, and its implementation in the shuffling of the cards on PokerStars". So they probably can help you and guide you in the right direction, maybe by recommending you to a good gaming software development company.

are you trying to say that each of you plays at two computers each, and you are all playing together, you do know that this is beaking multiple of hte srevice agreements that you have signed when you sign up to a site, if this is the case i dont think you should be telling anyone in the first place and secondly i dont think that BRM would really appreciate you choosing here to do it, im sure the sites wouldnt want to offer BRM no deposit bonuses for their members if they thought there members were colluders and breaking service agreements

Starting a poker room takes quite an investment. Than you are going to have to attract customers and offer them something.

hmm, i dont think its such a good idea to start one now, there are so many out there, it would be hard to start your own, and make it succussfull, five years ago, i would say this is an excellent idea

i uno i think if you started your own site and got it going with bankrollmob then i could see it getting up there fairly quick..

but hes been working on it for a while but just half assed ya no? not fully putting himself towards it

but if you worked at it and really wanted it, i think 3-6 months is tight but very doable.. you have to get in touch with the city and etc to make sure your allowed to and everything legal

the difference is going to play together at online games like warcraft 3 or the like is fine because thats the point of them, in poker it is expressly forbidden. you sign a contract saying your not going to, so it is not an analagous situation at all
