Viktor Blom: "I think they were angle-shooting, and cowards."   0
"In an exclusive interview, Swedish poker sensation Viktor "Isildur1" Blom talks about his online career, and comments also the historical $500/$1000 Pot-Limit Omaha session against Brian Hastings.

When asked that was Blom amused by the speculation about his identity back in 2009, the Swede answers: "No, I was young and I felt I didn’t need it and I hated media".

Blom tells that his life was good at that time. He had a million-dollar flat that was amazing and he could hang out with his childhood friends and girlfriend:

-Life was just good at that time and I couldn’t ask for anything more. But I decided to join Team PokerStars because I felt I needed a new challenge. I wanted to improve my live game. Things had changed and people weren’t willing to play NL HU on the internet as much as before. I just felt right doing this and it has always being a dream for me signing with Team PokerStars. They are the best site by far.

When asked about Cole South and Brian Hastings, Blom doesn't save words:

-I think they were angle-shooting, and cowards. One time I remember playing Cole South in a 300-600 game and I was so tilted that I was 3-betting every hand. And he was up and suddenly he quits! I said, “wtf?” He says sorry, he has to go. I thought to myself wtf is he doing? Then, seconds later, Hastings sits down (laughs). They were probably sitting next to each other! Then he beat me for $4.5 million.

In the interview Blom also talks about the start of his career, his relationship with money and mentions also briefly Phil Ivey and Tom "durrrr" Dwan."

"think they were angle-shooting", more like knows, and the site knew, he should have been given his money back, they cheated him, very polite to call it angle-shooting.
For 4.5 mill I would jump on a plane go break their jaws, payout compensation (30k ish now days)
I hope one day he gets that money back of them.

Yeah I agree but playing on tilt is never a good idea... Playing against 2 players is definetly not an advantage but still you can only click once... Big Smile

Anyways I would also love to see a HU revenge match that would be fun!!
