This can only means bad news for myself, my game and my strategy. My job (unfortunately) and my family (happily) fills all my time during week days, which means i only have time for some online poker at weekends, and not all. There were already several BRM forums regarding the advantage/disadvantage of playing during weekends, and i fear that i will end up blowing whats left from my NDBs and the new deposit i am considering doing against some “weekend soldiers” i get in a Saturday or Sunday afternoon… Many of you likes this challenge, and even play sometimes with the objectif of showing donks how things work this days. But how many of you have caught a stupid winning call that just puts and end on what was being a good game? Almost all, i guess. What can i do? The only solution i see can pass by playing Saturday night, after midnight, this way things will not be that dangerous in donk terms, more like in shark terms… i will always loose… Do you have any advices for those, like me, who can only play during weekends? What to do, what to avoid, more ring or higher SnG, not lower MTTs...

id rather play a shark then a donk anyday, at least a shark i know their a thinking(common sense) player, fish bug the hell out of me, mostly maniac fish! but i enjoy playing late night, around midnight-8am

There are donks 24hrs per day everywhere. This is something that you cant avoid. Find a room and a game that you feel comfortable with and start playing. Your goal isnt to show donks how things work Your goal is to win some money.

i'm the same as you fakiry(a weekend soldier)..i tend to play a lot of mtt's as thats my preferred game,not running too bad now after a bit of a downswing finished 92nd out of almost 7200 runners last saturday night on stars in a $1.35 turbo bounty,got a small cash out so happy with that....i say stick to what your comfortable with as your going to get donks on 24/7 no matter where you play

I go with the guys here, just play what ur comfortable with and hope for the best. going to a higher level playing even less poker is to much of a risk and u can bust out pretty fast. its also a good way to start tilting btw. hope it all works out for u in the end, whatever strategy u choose .
on brm about 5-10min a day here and there and thats pretty much it.
